Source (opens in a new tab)ROUTER & MODEM REFERENCE
Login addresses, default credentials, and setup instructions for Airtel equipment.
Connect to the router’s Wi-Fi or Ethernet first. These links open a new tab on your device; the address may differ if the network was reconfigured.
QUICK START
Start with the option that matches your model. Defaults apply to the factory state; use the password you chose if the device has already been set up.
Options are ordered by manufacturer documentation and coverage among the listed models. Hardware, firmware, and ISP versions can differ.
MODEL DETAILS
Passwords are case-sensitive. “Leave blank” means an empty field; “Not specified” means the source does not provide that detail. Entries without a model are brand-level references.

| AirtelXstream Fiber RouterModem / gateway · Web | http://192.168.1.1 (opens in a new tab) | admin | password | Airtel's official support page documents 192.168.1.1 with admin / password as the login. This is a genuinely documented default, not an invented admin/admin. Airtel ships several ODM units (Nokia, ZTE, Syrotech); newer fibre ONTs increasingly carry a unique admin password printed on the device label, so check the sticker if admin/password does not work. Recovery & reset instructionsConnect to the router over Wi-Fi or by LAN cable, open http://192.168.1.1 in a browser, and sign in with username admin and password password (Airtel's documented default). To factory reset, press and hold the recessed RESET button on the back for about 10-15 seconds until the LEDs blink and the unit reboots, then log back in at 192.168.1.1. If admin/password is rejected, check the sticker on the underside of the unit for a per-device password. |

GET CONNECTED
The admin password opens the router’s settings. The Wi-Fi password connects a device to the wireless network. They may be different, and an ISP or cloud account can be separate again.
Check capitalization and the device label, then use the manufacturer’s password-recovery instructions. A factory reset erases settings and may require ISP setup details; follow the instructions for your exact model.
