FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
- INTENDED USE — The MLX is a linear low bay lighting solution that is available in multiple lengths, lumen packages and distributions. Designed for versatility, the MLX can address virtually any indoor lighting need. The MLX is offered in standard and high efficacy configurations and capable of being continuous row mounted or installed as a stand-alone fixture. Ideal for large commercial spaces, data centers, retail, grocery, and warehousing.
- CONSTRUCTION — Channel and Reflector are formed from code-gauge cold-rolled steel. Channel and lens endcaps are injection molded plastic.
Finish: Paint options include high gloss white (WH), matte black(MB) and Natural aluminum (DNA). Five-stage iron phosphate pretreatment ensures superior paint adhesion and rust resistance. - OPTICS — Offered with acrylic lens. Provides a choice of different uplight with each lens type and medium lambertian distribution.
Please check the IES file for specific uplight value or look at page 12. - ELECTRICAL — Utilizes high-output LEDs integrated on a two-layer circuit board, ensuring cool-running operation. Optional internal pluggable wiring harness for reduced labor cost in row mounting applications. (See PLR_ ordering information on page 13.) Electronic LED driver is multi-volt input and 0-10V dimming standard (see Operational Data on page 9 for actual wattage consumption). This fixture is designed to withstand a maximum line surge of 2.5kV at 0.75kA combination wave for indoor locations, for applications requiring higher level of protection additional surge protection must be provided. Color Variation within 3-step MacAdam ellipse (3SDCM).

- INSTALLATION — Fixture may be suspend mounted with air craft cables and chain hangers or surface mounted with tong hanger.

The below information applies to all nLight AIR devices with an EM option.
- EM devices will remain at their high-end trim and ignore wireless lighting control commands, unless a normal-power-sensed (NPS) broadcast is received at least every 8 seconds.
- Using the CLAIRITY+ mobile app, EM devices must be associated with a group that includes a normal power sensing device to receive NPS broadcasts.
- Only non-emergency rPP20, rLSXR, rSBOR, rSDGR, and nLight AIR luminaires with version 3.4 or later firmware can provide normal power sensing for EM devices. See specification sheets for control devices and luminaires for more information on options that support normal power sensing.

- Install the luminaires with embedded controls
- Install and wire the wall switch to power.
- Connect load and 0-10 dimming wires from the wall switch to the luminaires.
Wireless Embedded Controls
MLX Series
- Install the luminaires with embedded controls
- Insert the pairing tool into the pinhole on the wall switch; press and hold any button for 6 seconds.
- Once paired, each fixture will individually dim down to 10% brightness. All products will be fully functional.

PLUG-IN WIRING INFORMATION
- Advanced plug-in system with two-circuit capability. Available on industrial and strip products and a variety of architectural products mounted in continuous rows. PLR22 (2-circuit) and crossover harness switches hot circuit serving next fixture in row. Reduces fixture types on job for alternating circuit applications (see example below.)
- Easy one-step installation, saves up to 35% on labor costs. Expanded switching flexibility helps save energy.
- Rows can be 50% longer with two-circuit systems. Polarized, lock-together nylon connectors prevent miswiring in the field. #12 THHN conductor, rated 600V, 90°C. White neutral wire included. Grounding accomplished by fixture in-row connectors. CSA certified systems available with up to 2 circuits. G ground required.
- Not for use with dedicated emergency circuits.
