Setup and Charging

  1. Place the docking station on a flat surface or counter where receivers are easily accessible. Alternatively, the docking station can be mounted to a wall or other surface using the wall mounting slots (LA-480 and LA-482).
  2. Connect the docking station to a power outlet using the provided power supply.
  3. Insert your ListenWIFI receivers into the charging pockets of the docking station. The receiver(s) top LED status will begin flashing to indicate the battery is charging and turn solid when fully charged.

Note: Do not close the docking station case when connected to power! The case must remain open to ensure proper ventilation while charging (LA-481).

ListenWIFI Manager

  1. Download the ListenWIFI Manager software for Windows®, available on the ListenTech.com website on the ListenWIFI support page. The ListenWIFI Manager is required to initially set up and manage your entire ListenWIFI system, including the docking station and receivers.
  2. Connect the docking station to a Windows computer using the provided USB cable.
  3. Configure receivers in the Manager software, specifying Wi-Fi credentials, default audio language, beacon channel subscriptions, auto power, default volume, and other receiver settings. These settings can then be saved as a receiver profile, enabling the docking station to easily copy and share these profiles to additional devices using the cloning feature (see Cloning Button).

Note: For full software operation details, consult the software help files and system manual.

General Operation

Symbol Status Button – Press the status button to illuminate the front graphical displays of the receivers. The amber status indicator will illuminate briefly, and all receivers in the docking station will display the following:

  • Profile name
  • Battery percentage
  • Unit ID number

Symbol Cloning Button – Momentarily press the cloning button to copy the receiver’s profile in the red pocket to all other receivers in the black pockets.
The red cloning indicator flashes during the cloning operation and then turns solid for three seconds once complete.

The cloning operation copies all receiver profile settings, including Wi-Fi credentials, default audio language, beacon channel subscriptions, auto power, default volume, and other receiver settings.

View the current profiles at any time by pressing the status button.

Note: The ListenWIFI Manager software is required for the initial creation and assignment of a receiver profile, which must be done before a receiver clone operation (see ListenWIFI Manager section)
