Product Usage Instructions:
Step 1: Open HT-Connect App
Open the HT-Connect App and select the connected device to
access the T-Connect Menu.
Step 2: Check Connection Type
Ensure the globe icon is visible for firmware update. Use mobile
data to establish connection with Cloud Server and start the update
via T-Connect’s Wi-Fi connection.
Step 3: Create Account and Set Up Wi-Fi
Create a Lisa Signolux T-Connect Account for downloading the
upgrade. Open Settings Menu, select Wi-Fi under Connection Type,
and follow instructions for Account Creation.
If the Globe Icon is visible, tap on the Settings Menu in the
top right corner.
Step 5: Check Upgrade Availability
If a red Dot is displayed next to OTA Upgrade option, tap to
download the upgrade.
Step 6: Start Update
Tap Upgrade now to start the update. The process takes
approximately 2 minutes. Verify the successful update by checking
for a higher version number and no red dot indicating
completion.

Why Do I Need a Firmware Update?
A firmware update allows the system to operate better, more securely or with new functions.
In the following, we explain step by step: · How to perform the update · What you should consider during the process

Step 1: Open HT-Connect App
Open the HT-Connect App and select the connected device. This will take you to the start page of the T-Connect Menu.
Step 2: Check Connection Type
ATTENTION: The globe icon must be visible to perform a firmware update.
Note The T-Connect must connect to the server to download the firmware update. Mobile data is only used to establish the connection between the Cloud Server and the T-Connect and to start the update. The actual update is downloaded via the T-Connect’s Wi-Fi connection.
Note The firmware update does not work when “Wi-Fi” or “Bluetooth” is displayed.
Wi-Fi: Please switch off Wi-Fi on your mobile phone and use mobile data instead!
Bluetooth: No firmware update is possible via Bluetooth. Please switch to a Wi-Fi connection and follow the instructions above under “Wi-Fi”.
Important (for Bluetooth): For the firmware update, an account must be created if one doesn’t already exist. You’ll find more information on the following page.
Note: Set up Wi-Fi and Create Account (if not already existing)
A Lisa Signolux T-Connect Account is required for the firmware update. The upgrade can only be downloaded with an active account.
Here’s how to do it: 1. Open the Settings Menu in the HT-Connect App. 2. Select under Connection Type Wi-Fi. 3. Follow the instructions for Account Creation.

Step 3: Open the Settings Menu
If the Globe Icon is visible at the top as described (meaning the cloud connection is active), please now tap on the Settings Menu in the top right corner.
Step 4: Check Upgrade Availability
If a red Dot is displayed next to the “OTA Upgrade” option, an upgrade is available.
In this Case: Simply tap and download the upgrade!
Step 5: Start Update
Upon clicking “OTA Upgrade”, if a red Dot is visible, the display shown will appear.
Here, please tap “Upgrade now”.
The update will now start. Duration: approx. 2 minutes.
Step 6: Verify the Update…
… in the App: If the Firmware Update was successful, you’ll recognize it by the higher version number after the “V” and by the disappearance of the red dot.
Did it not work? Please try to perform the Firmware Update again. The Connection may have been briefly interrupted.

PLEASE NOTE If the connection type in the app was set to Bluetooth before the firmware update, please re-enable it once the update has been performed. This will ensure everything functions as usual again!
