Basic functions

A Lisa-Signolux alerting system consists of at least one transmitter (e.g. doorbell pushbutton) and a receiver.
If e.g. the doorbell pushbutton is pressed, a radio signal is transmitted to the receiver. This, in turn, displays the received signal audibly and visually with sounds and flashing lights.

Setting the alerting mode
Using the mode selector switch (10) you can select the alerting mode. – switch to position 0: alerting tones, but no flash

  • switch to position 1: alerting tones and flash
  • switch to position 2: no alerting tones, flash only

The status of this switch can be viewed on the app.

Setting the volume
Use the rotating volume control (7) to set the volume of the alerting tone.

Safety warning:
This device can generate sounds of up to 90 dB! Protect your sense of hearing! Please set a low volume to begin with and only then adjust it to the desired volume.

Automatic pairing
Lisa-Signolux devices can be used together immediately and without prior pairing when delivered.
The displayed icon depends on the type of transmitter. This information can be found in the user manual of the according transmitter.

Optional manual pairing

  1. Note 1:
If a transmitter is to be displayed with an event icon of your own choice, this can be done as described in the chapter „Linking transmitter alerts with event icons“.
However, this causes the receiver to lose the automatic pairing function and all transmitters previously shown on the receiver must be individually paired.
  2. Note 2:
Should there be repeated false alerts when using the preset transmitter indication, this may hint at a neighbouring Lisa-Signolux installation causing interference. In this case, the problem can be solved by individually pairing all transmitter and receiver units within the setup (see „Linking transmitter alerts with event icons“).

Reset to factory defaults
Delete the pairing of each event icon (see „Deleting transmitters“).
When all previously assigned transmitters have been removed from the memory of the receiver, the preset transmitter indication is restored and the transmitters are automatically displayed.

Linking transmitter alerts with event icons
Up to 8 transmitters can be assigned to each event icon. This is achieved by pairing a transmitter with an icon of your choice. Please keep in mind that a transmitter can only be paired if it is not already stored in the memory of the receiver. If required, you might first have to delete the transmitter from the memory (see “Deleting transmitters”).

  • Keep the function button »●« (3) pressed for some time. The event icons start to light up in sequence. Let go of the button as soon as the desired icon is lit.
  • Trigger your transmitter (e.g. operate the doorbell pushbutton or test button).
  •  Wait for about 20 seconds, then test the function by triggering the transmitter again.

Setting the melody
You can freely set every provided tone to an event icon of your choice. The mode selector switch must be either set to 0 or 1.

  • First trigger an alert (e.g. operate doorbell pushbutton).
  • The icon assigned to the transmitter lights up and the previously chosen tone should be heard.
  • Press and hold the melody setting button »♫« (5) for two seconds.
  • Let go of the button and press it repeatedly until you have found the desired melody (you can choose from 16 different tones).
  • Once the icon ceases to flash, the selected tone has been set.

Deleting transmitters

Do the following if you wish to delete a transmitter from the device memory:

  • Keep the function button »●« (3) pressed for some time. The event icons start to light up in sequence. Let go of the button as soon as the icon in question is lit.
  • Now press the function button »●« and the melody button »♫« (3)+(5) at the same time. All icons briefly light up and the transmitter is deleted from that icon.

Please note: This procedure will delete all transmitters assigned to this event icon.

Status-LED
The receiver informs about the state of its own batteries as well as the batteries of the linked transmitters:

  • A sufficient battery charge level of the receiver is indicated by the status LED flashing red every 5 to 6 seconds.
  • A low battery level of the receiver is indicated by the status LED flashing red every two seconds. Please recharge the receiver as soon as possible (attach the power supply unit).
  • If the battery level of a transmitter is low, the status LED lights up red every 2 seconds after the transmitter has transmitted its signal. Please replace the batteries of the according trans- mitter at the next possible opportunity.
  • Behaviour of the status LED when the power supply unit is connected:
  • Charging the battery: The status indicator lights up red. The red light is interrupted for half a second every 6 seconds.
  • Battery is charged and the unit is ready for operation: The status indicator lights up green. Every 6 seconds, the status indicator briefly lights up in red.

Emergency power supply

  • The rechargeable batteries are used to power the device in the event of a power failure. The operating time per charge is several hours, depending on the frequency of incoming displayed events.
  • The receiver should therefore not be disconnected from the power supply.
  • Recalling the last alert, cancelling the current alert
  • Press the »●« button to display the last registered alert again.
  • You can also cancel an active indicated alert by pressing this button.

AUX-socket and power connector
The »AUX«-socket (8) and the power connector for the power supply (11) can be found on the rear of the receiver. All following Humantechnik modules can be connected to the AUX-output:

Vibrating pad (A-3303-0), Battery-free vibrating pad (A-3304-0/W),
Vibrating contraption (A-3310-0)

These are available as accessories. When an event is displayed, the alert is also indicated over the connected modules.
The power connector is used to supply power via the power supply unit. This is used to charge the batteries, but it can remain connected for permanent operation of the unit.

Extended »Connect« functions

App installation
Please locate the app »HT-Connect« in your respective app store (available for Android™ and iOS, free of cost) and install it.
Make sure to activate your Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone or tablet. The following instructions relate to a »Receiver T Connect« which is new, or one on which the connection settings have been reset.

Configuration

Connection modes
The »Receiver T Connect« offers 2 connection modes:

  • Connection between the phone and the receiver via Bluetooth
  • Connection between the phone and the receiver via WiFi.

Both modes enable the display of Lisa-Signolux events on the phone, depending on the phone’s operating system. The signalling of incoming calls and messages from the phone on the Lisa-Signolux system can take place via both connection types with Android, with iOS only via Bluetooth.
However, Bluetooth mode is very limited in transmission range and only recommended in direct vicinity of the phone to the receiver.
A connection via WiFi is almost unlimited in range, as it directly connects the phone with the receiver via the domestic WiFi setup and will also connect you automatically via the mobile data networks when you are not within your living space. Please make sure that your WiFi setup is stable.

  • Connection indicator light
Successful connection to the Wi-Fi network is indicated by a weak white-green light within the flash zone (1). Bluetooth connection is indicated by blue light. If the connection via the cloudserver network is active, this will be indicated instead by yellow light.
  • Basic connection setup
Open the »HT-Connect« app on your phone or tablet. Tap on “Add device”. Select “Lisa-Signo-lux T Connect”. Now authorize the requests your phone may display. After a short scan, the receiver should be listed. The exact name of your device can be found in the battery compart-ment. Tap on the the entry and connect with the »Receiver T Connect«. Now select “Bluetooth” to connect.
  • Bluetooth® Mode
If you select “Bluetooth”, your phone will connect to the »Receiver T Connect« via Bluetooth. Authorize any permission requests which may appear on your phone. You will then see the event icons overview page of the app. All functions are now accessible within the limited transmission range of a Bluetooth connection. You can now access the various settings within the app, which are briefly described in the following chapters.
  • Wi-Fi mode
  • Setting up a user account
After connecting to the device by Bluetooth, the WiFi connection mode can be set up. You will need to set up a user account within the app first. Enter the “Me” page of the app, by tapping on the three dots lisa-signolux-A-2676-0-Connect-T-Receiver (5)at the bottom right-hand corner. Select “Sign In”, the registration pagewill be displayed. In a new setup, you will need to “Sign up”, which is located in the top right corner of the screen. The data protection rules of the Humantechnik GmbH apply.
  • Registration:
Enter your email address. Enter a password of your choice. Within the line “Verification Code”, tap on “Get Code”. Check you email inbox for a new email containing the code and enter it in the “Verification Code” line. Tap on “Sign Up”. Your user account is now established.

Setting up the WiFi connection

Go to the home page via the home icon lisa-signolux-A-2676-0-Connect-T-Receiver (6)and select your device. On the overview page with the event icons, tap on the access to additional settingslisa-signolux-A-2676-0-Connect-T-Receiver (7) in the top right-hand corner. Now select ‘WiFi’ as the connection type. Enter the email address and password as previously specified and tap on ‘Sign in’.
Tap on ‘Change network’. The available networks are displayed – select yours, enter the network password and tap ‘Connect’. Approve all authorisation requests that appear on your phone.
Once the Wi-Fi connection has been set up, your phone is connected to the receiver and all its functions. If your phone is outside the Wi-Fi network, the connection is automatically established between the receiver and the phone via the cloud and the mobile data networks.

Please note:

  • When the phone is connected via cloudserver and mobile networks to the “Receiver T Con-nect“, incoming messages and phone calls will not be indicated or forwarded by the “Receiver T Connect“. This will prevent unneccessary event indications on the Lisa-Signolux system when you are outside of your home.
  • You can now access the various settings within the app, which are briefly described in the following chapters.
  • Receiving Lisa-Signolux-event messages on your mobile device
  • Whenever your mobile device is connected th the “Receiver T Connect“ it will display event indications form the Lisa-Signolux system as push messages on the screen.
  • You can deactivate the reception of Lisa-Signolux events on your phone on the app’s “Me” page (On Line Setting) but please note that the fire alarm will be displayed in any case.

Indication of telephone events on the Lisa-Signolux system
The Lisa-Signolux system can display notifications from your phone (incoming calls, messages, alerts) according to your phone’s notification settings. The event icon that is displayed on the Lisa-Signolux system for this purpose can be freely selected on the app (notification icon). If your mobile phone is connected to the »Receiver T Connect« via the local WiFi network or Bluetooth, the Lisa-Signolux system can inform you of incoming calls and messages with the usual light flashes and an event icon of your choice.
Open the app. In the “Settings” page, select “APP Notify symbol”. Give permission for the notification function according to your phone’s user interface.
You will see a list of the installed phone apps, for which you can get notified. Activate the per-mission for the »HT-Connect« app.
Press the return arrow < on the top left side of the screen. The 8 event icons are displayed. Se-lect the icon which you wish to appear on the Lisa-Signolux system, when you receive incoming calls or messages on your phone.

Notes on Android™:
Notifications (incoming phone calls, SMS, Whatsapp) are displayed on the Lisa-Signolux sys-tem as long as Bluetooth or WiFi and the HT Connect app are active – even in standby mode. Android is a brand of Google LLC.

Notes on iOS:
Due to the more restrictive nature of the iOS operating system, this function is very limited. Incoming calls and messages can only be indicated if there is a Bluetooth connection to the ‘Receiver T Connect’. This feature is not available over the WiFi connection.

Reset

  • The reset button behind the small aperture (9) serves to reset the the Bluetooth and WiFi connection settings to their default state. The basic Lisa-Signolux functions, like Individually linked Lisa-Signolux transmitters, are not affected by this reset button.
  • Take a pointed object (e.g. a ballpoint pen), insert it in the reset aperture and then press and hold the internal switch within the device.
  • After a few seconds: The blue light lights up in the flash zone. If you now release the button, the connection settings are reset.
  • If the reset button continues to be held down, a red light will light up in the flash zone after a few more seconds. When the button is released, further internal settings are also reset.

Important:

Please keep in mind that some delay or even malfunction in the exchange of alerts between the Lisa-Signolux system and their indication on the app may be possible.
This can be caused by multiple factors, which are beyond the control of the Humantechnik GmbH.
The Humantechnik GmbH and its partners can and will not accept any liability for possible consequences of delayed or missed transmission of information.
