Product Usage Instructions

Quick Setup:

  • Download the Prodigytec app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), create an account, or log in.
  • Network Settings:
    • Open the Prodigytec app and navigate to Home – Add device – Gateway.
    • Follow on-screen instructions: Method A (2.4GHz WiFi) or Method B (network cable).
  • Usage: Add sub-devices in the Prodigytec app following the user manual of the sub-device.

Controls & Indicators:

Button Instruction:

  • Reset network: Long press button for 10s.
  • Restore factory settings: Fast press the button 10 times or more.

Indicator Status:

  • The yellow light flashes slowly: Reset the network successfully.
  • The yellow light flashes 1s: Function triggered.

Indicator Light Instruction:

  • White: Gateway powered on and initializing.
  • Blue: Gateway disconnected from the router (offline).

Introduction

Lepower-tec smart gateway serves as a control center for your smart home. It can be connected to the network via 2.4GHz WiFi or Ethernet. With the gateway, you can easily add and manage Lepower-tec smart sub-devices, enabling seamless interconnection and interoperability, and allowing you to more conveniently control and manage Lepower-tec smart sub-devices, such as smart lights.

Quick Setup

  1. Download the Prodigytec app.
    Download the Prodigytec app from the App Store (IOS device) or Google Play (Android device), and create an account or log in to your account.Lepower-tec-GW-01-Smart-Gateway -fig- (3)
  2. Power on the gateway
    Use the supplied adapter to power on the gateway and make sure that the yellow indicator is flashing slowly. Otherwise, please press the button for more than 10s until the yellow indicator is flashing slowly and the gateway enters the pairing status.
    Note: To ensure the best connection performance, it is recommended to keep the distance between the gateway and the router within 5m. Avoid any metal obstructions between the gateway and the router, as well as around the vicinity of the router.
  3. Network settings
    Open the Prodigytec app and go to “Home”. Select “+” – “Add device” – “Gateway”. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the gateway.
    1. Method A: Use 2.4GHz WiFi to pair the network
      1. If you are using a dual-band router, please make sure that your phone is connecting to the 2.4GHz WiFi or that the router has disabled the 5GHz WiFi.
      2. Make sure that your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi and the BT is turned on.
      3. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Prodigytec app to operate. If you fail to add the gateway, please reset the network and retry adding the gateway. In this process, please keep your phone as close to the gateway as possible.
    2. Method B: Use the network cable to pair the network
      1. Use the provided network cable to connect the gateway LAN port to the router LAN port, and wait for the indicator lights in the gateway LAN port to light up.
      2. Make sure that your phone and the gateway are connecting to the same Wi-Fi. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Prodigytec app to pair the network. If you fail to add the gateway, please reset the network and retry adding the gateway.
  4. Usage
    Add sub-devices in the Prodigytec app: please refer to the user manual of the sub-device to add the sub-device.

After Deletion Protection is enabled in the app, and the reset network function is triggered by pressing the button on the gateway.

Due to the firmware upgrade of the gateway, the actual operation may be slightly different from the above instructions. Please follow the on-screen instructions in the Prodigytec app or the actual status of the gateway to operate.

Fail to pair the network.

1. Check whether the gateway is powered on.

2. Make sure your phone and the gateway are both connected to the 2.4GHz WiFi.

3. The WiFi name or password contains unsupported special characters, which is causing the inability to connect to the router. Please modify the WiFi name and password to common characters and try again.

4. The gateway temporarily does not support

WPA/WPA2 WiFi network.

5. Check whether the router has enabled any special WiFi protection settings that might be causing issues with the network pairing of the gateway.

6. Check whether the router has enabled AP Isolation, as it may prevent your phone from discovering the gateway within the local network. It is recommended that your phone and the gateway not be connected to a bridged network.

  • Avoid using the product in high high-temperature environment. Please keep it away from fire.

  • OThe operatingtemperature should be 14℉~104℉(-10℃ ~ 40℃).
