Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started

1. REGISTER: Follow the registration steps.
2. DOWNLOAD: Download the Leep App from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
3. CONNECT: Connect your Leep Ring 1 to the Leep App via Bluetooth.

Wearing the Leep Ring 1

1. Sizing: Choose a ring size that fits your finger comfortably, avoiding it being too tight or too loose.
2. Placement: For best performance and accuracy, wear the ring on the index finger of your non-dominant hand. It can also be worn on any other finger as long as it sits securely and comfortably.
3. Orientation: Ensure the ring sensor (the side with the engraved ‘L’) is facing the palm side of your finger for more accurate measurements.

Charging Instructions

1. Connect Charging Case: Connect the supplied USB Type-C Charging Cable (or another certified USB Type-C power cable) to the Charging Case.
2. Connect to Power: Connect the USB Type-C Charging Cable to a 5V/1A external power source. Avoid using Fast Chargers as they may impact battery life.
3. Charging Case Fully Charged: The green light on the front of the case will stay on when fully charged.
4. Charging Case Battery Status:
   • Rapidly flashing green light: Low battery.
   • Slowly flashing green light: Charging.
5. Charge Leep Ring 1: Place the ring in the Charging Case, ensuring the contacts on the engraved ‘L’ side of the ring align with the charging contacts in the case.
6. Ring Charging Indicator: The green light inside the ring will flash slowly, and the light on the front of the charging case will stay on.
   Note: The charging case is not water resistant. For indoor use only. You can charge the charging case with the lid open or closed.

General Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Clean the ring regularly with a damp cloth. Ensure the ring is fully dry before using it again to maintain functionality and reduce skin irritation.
• Water Resistance: The Leep Ring 1 is water resistant (IP68) up to 50m / 164ft. The charging case is NOT water resistant; do not use or store it in humid environments for extended periods.
• Scratches: The Leep Ring 1 may get scratched during regular use. Direct contact with softer materials (metal, jewelry, or other objects) may also cause scratches.

USAGE

• Leep Ring 1 is designed for your everyday activities. Leep Ring 1 is water resistant (IP68) up to 50m / 164ft.
• We recommend cleaning the ring regularly and keeping it dry to ensure good functionality of the ring and to reduce potential skin irritation. You can use a damp cloth to wipe the ring. Please ensure that the ring is fully dry before using it again. The
• Leep Ring 1 charging case is not water-resistant. Do not use or store the charging case in humid environments like a bathroom for longer periods.
• The Leep Ring 1 may get scratched in regular use and may, in direct contact with softer materials (metal, jewelry, or other objects), cause scratches itself if it gets in close contact.

LEEP APP

• The Leep App is available in the iOS App Store and Google Play. The Leep Ring is compatible with iPhones running iOS 14 or later and Android 6 or later.
• SECURITY Encrypted Bluetooth communication is used between Leep Ring 1 and Leep App.

CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect the supplied USB Type-C Charging Cable or another certified USB Type-C power cable to the Charging Case.
2. Connect the USB Type-C Charging Cable to a 5V/1A external power source. Avoid charging the Charging Case with Fast Chargers, as they may impact the battery life.
3. When power is connected and the charging case is fully charged, the green light on the front of the case stays on.
4. When the charging case has a low battery, the green light will flash rapidly. When the charging case is charging, the green light will flash slowly.
5. To charge the Leep Ring 1, place the ring in the Charging Case, ensuring the contacts on the engraved “L” side of the ring align with the charging contacts in the charging case.
6. When the ring is charging, the green light inside the ring will flash slowly, and the light on the front of the charging case will stay on. `You can charge the charging case with the lid open or closed. Note: The charging case is not water resistant. For indoor use only.

TROUBLESHOOTING

• If the ring does not pair with your smartphone:
  1. Make sure the ring is charged
  2. Check your smartphone to ensure Bluetooth is turned on. This should be in your Bluetooth settings.
  3. Restart the Leep App and try pairing again
• If the ring is not measuring any data:

• If the ring battery is draining too quickly:
  1. Calibrate your battery by charging it for at least 3 hours
  2. Start using your ring again as you normally would

Do not disassemble, modify, or expose the Leep Ring 1 to liquids, extreme heat, or open flames. Do not puncture, burn, or incinerate. Avoid handling batteries, working on machinery that contains batteries, or situations where there is a risk of electric shock.

MEDICAL DEVICE WARNINGS

• Leep Ring 1 is not a medical device. It’s not intended to mitigate, prevent, treat, cure, or diagnose any disease or condition.
• If you have any medical condition, you should always consult a licensed Physician. If you make any changes to your behavior based on data received from your Leep Ring 1, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
• The Leep Ring 1 surface materials are safe for skin contact according to the ISO 10993 standard. If you experience irritation on your skin due to the Leep Ring 1, remove the ring. Please contact a physician if the skin irritation persists after not using Leep Ring 1.
• Please be careful so that the Leep Ring 1 does not get caught on fixed structures or heavy objects.
• If you experience any emergency or discomfort, or if you cannot remove your Leep Ring 1 yourself, we advise you to seek immediate medical attention.
• This product contains magnetic components. If you have an implantable medical device, consult your physician before use. Keep a safe distance between the ring, charging case, and your medical implant.

CHILD SAFETY WARNINGS
This product contains small parts and magnets that may present a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Keep the ring and charging case out of reach of young children. This product is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

BATTERY WARNING:

• This product contains rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. Do not open the device or attempt to replace the batteries. Mishandling may result in fire or explosion. Dispose of the product at certified electronic recycling facilities. Do not dispose of it with household waste.
• Do not expose the Leep Ring 1 or the charging case to heat, such as in a vehicle or directly in the sun. Do not charge the Leep Ring 1 in such environments.
• Avoid handling batteries, working on devices with machinery that contains batteries, or situations where there is a risk of electric shock.

This limited warranty does not apply to (i) normal wear and tear, including scratches and dents; (ii) consumable parts included in the Product, such as batteries, unless product damage has oc-curred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (iii) damage resulting from your failure to use the Product in accordance with the instructions accompanying the Leep Product or available at the website; (iv) damage resulting from an accident, flood, fire, misuse, or abuse; (v) damage resulting from service performed, or damage resulting from tampering or alterations to the Product, by anyone not authorized by Leep; or (vi) use of the Product with any other application or software than the Leep Mobile App.
• Leep retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the Product, your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this limited warranty. Warranty repairs and replacements have anew warrantyy, which is the longer of ninety (90) days or the balance of the original one (1) year warranty.
