Usage Instructions

Unboxing and Setup

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Connect the power adapter to the device and plug it into a wall outlet. The LED indicator will light up.
3. Download the companion app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Search for “XYZ Connect”.
4. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. In the XYZ Connect app, tap “Add Device” and select “XYZ-123”.
3. Follow the app’s prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
4. The device will attempt to connect. A solid blue LED indicates a successful connection.

Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
• Mode Change: Short-press the mode button to cycle through available modes (e.g., Standard, Eco, Boost).
• App Control: All device functions can be controlled and monitored via the XYZ Connect app.

Maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure ventilation ports are clear of dust and debris.
• Periodically check for firmware updates through the XYZ Connect app.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Powering On

• Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the device and a working power outlet.

Cannot connect to Wi-Fi

• Incorrect Password: Double-check your Wi-Fi password.
• 2.4GHz Network: Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
• Router Distance: Move the device closer to your Wi-Fi router.
• Router Reboot: Try restarting your Wi-Fi router.
• Factory Reset: If all else fails, perform a factory reset (refer to the app for instructions) and try connecting again.

App Not Responding

• Close and reopen the XYZ Connect app.
• Check your phone’s internet connection.
• Ensure the device is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
• Restart your smartphone.
