Quick Release
Use your remote control as a handy detacher:
- Place the magnet side against the clasp to release it.
- Press and hold the button on the side to activate or deactivate the alarm.
INSTRUCTIONS
Placement of the Alarm
Clean your surface with the supplied alcohol wipe before sticking down the Alarm Unit. Ensure that the pressure switch on the underside of the alarm is pressed in against a flat surface. Important to check this if using pegboard!
Turning on the Alarm
- Option 1: The quickest way, insert the Allen Key or something pointy into the side of the unit. A small movement is felt as the switch is pushed into the on position.
- Option 2: Remove the Alarm Top from the base and switch it into the on position.
Securing Merchandise
When the loop tether is attached to the merchandise on audible chirp will signal that the alarm is on. When remerchandising, you must turn the alarm unit off. Do this by hold the remote to the base and push the red button until a single beep sounds. Now it is safe to disconnected the loop tether.
Troubleshooting
Removing the Alarm Top
Begin by deactivating the Alarm Unit. While still keeping the remote control in proximity to the Alarm Top, rotate the base in a counter-clockwise direction.
Replacing the battery
Remove the red battery cover and replace the battery (size CR-2032)
Unit is buzzing
This indicates a low battery level. Remove the alarm top and replace the battery (size CR-2032)
Adjusting the Loop Clasp
Resize to fit different merchandise using the Allen key provided. Insert into the base of the clasp and tighten/loosen the lug.
Disconnecting the Loop Tether
If the clasp is stuck, try pushing it and then pulling it. this will release it.
