Kit Contents

• 1x GT130 Gateway with power supply to be permanently plugged into a 110 V electrical outlet.
• 1 x Wall Mount for Gateway (AC125-01)
• 1 x Ductless heat pump interface (HP6000ZB-GE, HP6000ZB-MA, or HP6000ZB-HS) – to be installed on a compatible heat pump*
• 1 x Smart Thermostat for Electric Heating (TH1124ZB) – to be installed by a certified electrician

Description

• This kit provides a turnkey cooling and electric heating interlocking solution that works without an Internet connection. All devices are pre-paired and pre-programmed by Sinopé Technologies to ensure a quick and easy installation.
• Main Function: Interlocking prevents the electric heating and cooling systems from running at the same time in a same room. The devices in the set are inseparable, and each one shares the same reference number.

Operation

Heat Pump Control: The customer uses the remote control of their heat pump.

Zigbee Communication Between Devices:

• The HP6000ZB interface, connected to the heat pump, transmits its status to the GT130 Gateway.
• The Gateway then communicates this information to the TH1124ZB thermostat.

Device Coordination:

• When the heat pump is in cooling mode, the thermostat automatically switches to off mode.
• In heating, fan, or off modes, the thermostat can activate the heating system without interfering with the heat pump.

Specific Scenarios

Loss of Communication or Malfunction:

• In case of an issue with the HP6000ZB interface or the heat pump, the thermostat allows the activation of heating for safety reasons.

Thermostat Display in Cooling Mode:

• If the heat pump is in cooling mode and the customer interacts with the thermostat, the screen will display “OFF” to indicate that the heating system is deactivated. If the customer manually adjusts the temperature setpoint, the heating system will briefly activate but will turn off within a maximum of 30 minutes if the heat pump remains in cooling mode.

Optional Internet Connection

If the customer connects the GT130 Gateway to the Internet and creates an account on the Neviweb by Sinopé app:

• The interlocking settings are preserved.
• The customer can integrate additional thermostats in the home into the system.

Installation of local Interlocking Kit

The devices are pre-programmed at the factory and only need to be installed.

1. Thermostat installation
   • Warnings This thermostat must be installed by a certified electrician in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
2. GT130 Gateway Installation
   1. Place the gateway in the unit’s communication panel or near the Wi-Fi router if the occupant wants to connect the system to Wi-Fi.
   2. Plug the gateway into a power outlet (110 V).
      • Ductless Heat Pump Interface Installation
      • 3A – GREE or Hisense compatible models. ( HP6000ZB-GE-K3 or HP6000ZB-HS-K3 kits)
      • 3B – Midea compatible models. (HP6000ZB-MA-K3 kit)
3. Interface installation
   • Warnings The installation of the ductless heat pump interface must be performed by a qualified professional. An incorrect installation may result in injuries and/or property damage. Before starting the interface installation, ensure that the electrical powerto the ductless heat pump is turned off at the electrical panel to avoid the risk of electric shock.

GREE or Hisense Compatible Models

1. Open the front panel of the
   • wall unit. Remove the screw(s) to gain access to the electrical, then remove the cover. Locate the connector and Wi-Fi cable.
2. Remove cable tie.
   • Insert the interface wire into the electrical box and connect it to the device’s Wi-Fi connector.
3. Place the interface on the mounting location.
   • Secure the interface with the screw supplied.
   • Note: The Wi-Fi module wire must be routed through the wire channel; otherwise, the electrical box cover will not close properly.
4. Replace the electrical box cover and secure it with a screw. Restore the power to the wall-mounted heat pump.

Midea Compatible Models

1. Open the front panel of the wall unit.
2. Insert the interface into the dedicated port on the wall unit cover.Add the supplied adapter if required by the heat pump model.
3. Close the wall unit cover. Restore the power to the wall-mounted heat pump.
