Product Usage Instructions

Download and Install Software
- Download the ElfKey software from software.pcsensor.com and install it on your computer.
Connection
- Wired Model (MK424U): Connect the custom keyboard to your computer using the USB cable.
- Wireless Models (MK424BT, MK424G, MK424Pro): Switch to Bluetooth or 2.4G mode as needed and follow pairing instructions.

Setting Key Functions
- Run the ElfKey software and connect the device. Start setting up key functions according to the software guidelines. The ElfKey User Manual is available within the software for reference.

Bluetooth Mode (ProBluetooth Version)
- a. Switch mode selector to BT mode.
- b. Press and hold the connect button to enter pairing mode.
- c. Connect to the named Bluetooth device on your device.

2.4G Mode (Pro2.4G Version)
- Switch mode selector to 2.4G mode and insert the USB receiver into the device for connection.

Product Introduction

A custom keyboard is a computer (and smartphone) HID input device that is equivalent to a keyboard or a mouse. You can use it to configure the function of the keys by the provided software ElfKey. It is widely used in office work, video game control, the medical industry, the industrial industry, and so on.
Custom keyboard is like other HID devices, it can be used on mobile phones, computers and tablets, and it is compatible with Windows, MAC, Linux, Android, IOS, Harmony OS, and other systems.

You can connect several Custom keyboards to one computer, it will not have any conflict with your common keyboards and mice. When multiple devices are connected to the software, please select the product individually on the software when setting the key function of the custom keyboard.

About the custom keyboard

OFF/ON: For wired mini keyboard: light switch ON/OFF. For wireless mini keyboard: Power switch ON/OFF.
USB-Type C port: Power supply and devices connection
connect button: After selecting the wireless mode, press and hold for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode
MODE light: Blue light (USB mode); Red light (Bluetooth mode); Green light(2.4G mode).Light effect: Flashing at an interval of 1 second indicates a reconnection status; Flashing every 2 seconds indicates pairing status; Connected status lighting effects can be configured in the ElfKey software.
Keys: Press to trigger the key function you’ve set up.
S button: Key layer switching button, press to switch key layers. Factory default condition there is only 1 layer of keys. You can add the 2nd and 3rd layers with the software. Each key-value layer can be set with a different function.
Key light: Press the S button, the different color lights indicate different layers. Red light (layer 1); Green light (layer 2); Blue light (layer 3). Please note: You need to switch the device to USB mode and connect it to a computer, run the ElfKey software, and then you can start to set up the key function.
USB/2/BT: connection mode. Switch to USB（USB）、2.4G（2）or Bluetooth（BT）mode connection。

How to use

The wired models are named MK424U. The wireless models are named MK424BT、MK424G、MK424Pro.
Download and install the Elfkey software from: software.pcsensor.com.
Connect the custom keyboard to your computer with the USB cable. Run Elfkey software, press the connect button of the device until the mode light turns blue (USB mode), and the ElfKey software will automatically recognize the device.
After connecting by USB mode, you can start setting up the key function according to the software guidelines. (You can find the ElfKey User Manual on the software).
Please note”one-click open” function of wired versions requires running ElfKey software. Other functions of all versions can be used without running software.
Bluetooth Mode(only for Pro, Bluetooth version):
- a: switch mode selector USB/2/BT to BT mode.
- b: Press and hold the connect button for 3-5 seconds, then the light will blink every 2 seconds to enter the pairing mode,
- c: Search for the Bluetooth named “device model” on your device and connect. After a successful connection, the indicator light turns on for 2 seconds, and then the red light will flash and turn off.
2.4G Mode (only for Pro, 2.4G version): Switch mode selector USB/2/BT to 2.4G mode, and insert the USB receiver into the device. After a successful connection, the indicator light stays on for 2 seconds, and then the indicator light will flash. (No need to pair). If you need to pair the 2.4G receiver again, press and hold the connect button for 3-5 seconds to enter pairing mode. Then insert the USB receiver into the computer, and the device will automatically pair when it is near the receiver. After successful pairing, the indicator light stays on for 2 seconds, then flashes.

Function Introduction

Keyboard and mouse functions: A single key of the custom keyboard can be set to key, key combo, shortcut, hotkeys or mouse cursor scroll up/down.

String function: Continuously output letters or symbols, up to 38 characters like “hello, world.”
Multimedia functions: Common functions such as volume +, volume -, Play/ Pause, click “my computer” etc.
Macro definition function: This function can set a combination action of keyboard and mouse, and you can custom a delay time to this action. You can use the recording function to record the actions of the keyboard and mouse.

“One-Key Open” function (wired version only): One click opens the specified files, PPTs, folders, and web pages that you’ve set up. (This function works only when the software is running, so it is only available in wired versions).
