This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Intended use
The Nedis KACM310FBK is a coffee machine with a 0.42 L travel mug.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
The product is not intended for professional use.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
- Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children, animals or infirm persons. Do not allow children to play with it or touch it.
- Keep the product away from heat sources. Do not place the product on hot surfaces or near open flames.
- Do not remove the top lid while the brewing cycle is in progress.
- Do not cover the product.
- Do not use solvents to clean the product.
- Use distilled or clean tap water to fill the tank.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not place any objects on the product.
- Do not move the product during operation.
- Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.

Electronic equipment needs to bear the CE mark in order to be marketed in the EU. CE marking shows that a product is assessed before being placed on the market and that it meets EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. CE marking is also sometimes accepted as a means of compliance with type-approval requirements; for example, electronic components that require type-approval and also CE marking for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or low-voltage equipment.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Before first use
Clean the mug A9, mug lid A8, the filter A5 and the funnel A6 with soap and rinse with water.
When you first use this product, perform two full brewing cycles without coffee to clean the inside of the product.
Use
Brewing coffee
This coffee maker comes with a reusable filter.
- A paper filter is not required.
1. Open the top lid A1.
2. Put 3 tablespoons of finely ground coffee or 4 tablespoons of regular ground coffee into A5.
3. Distribute the ground coffee evenly.
4. Place A5 into A6.
5. Place A56 into the brewing chamber A7.
6. Fill the water tank A2 with clean water.
7. Close A1.
8. Place A9 under the coffee spout A3.
9. Plug the power cable A4 into the power outlet.
10. Press the power button A14 to start the brewing cycle.
- The brewing indicator LED A16 switches on to indicate the brewing cycle had started.
- Do not remove the top lid A1 while the brewing cycle is in progress.
11. Wait a few minutes after the brewing cycle has finished to allow all the coffee to drip into the mug.
12. Allow the product to cool down.
13. Take A5 from A7.
14. Discard the used ground coffee.
15. Enjoy your coffee.
Setting the clock
- Press the hour button A12 and minute button A15 repeatedly to set the current time.
- Press and hold the button to scroll through the numbers quickly.
Setting the timer
1. Press the program button A11.
2. Press A12 and A15 repeatedly to set the start time for the brewing cycle.
3. Press A11 again to confirm the start time.
- The timed brewing indicator LED A13 switches on when the timed brewing cycle begins.
4. Press and hold A11 for 3 seconds to cancel the timer.
Maintenance
- Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Let the product cool down for 10 minutes.
- Clean the product after every use.
Cleaning the parts
1. Only A689 can be cleaned in water or dishwasher when removed from the product.
2. Wash A5 in hot water with soap.
Cleaning the housing
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not open the product.
Descaling the product
- Remove limescale every month.
1. Fill A9 with 1 part of white vinegar and 3 parts of water.
2. Pour A9 into A2.
3. Close A1.
4. Place A9 under A3.
5. Plug A4 into the power outlet.
6. Press At to start the brewing cycle.
- While cleaning, more hot steam occurs than normal brewing cycles.
7. When the water stops dripping into A9 allow the product to cool down for 3 minutes.
8. Remove, rinse and place back A5.
9. Repeat this process one more time.
10. Rinse the product and run a brewing cycle with only water.
11. Allow the product to cool down.
12. Wash and rinse A5,6,9.
