Product Usage Instructions

  • Installation Guide
    Connect your building automation system with wireless Modbus using the W-Modbus device. Choose between DIN rail or wall mount for installation.
  • Gateway Set-Up
    Set your Baud rate, stop bit, and parity on the gateway. Move the switch to the appropriate setting (A for DIN rail, B for wall mount).
  • Connecting Field Devices
    Install the LumenRadio node next to your field devices, starting with the one closest to the gateway. Connect the LumenRadio device to the chosen device (zone or room controller) and optionally set a local Baud rate.
  • Node Configuration
    Place the LumenRadio device above the chosen device and connect. The node lights will sweep in blue. Wait until the lights start blinking green, indicating successful connection to the gateway.
  • Finalizing Installation
    Return to the gateway and move the switch to GATEWAY mode. The devices will blink yellow as they enter secure mode. Once completed, you will have a wireless connection.
  • Using the W-Modbus App
    To use the W-Modbus app, press the button on the gateway three times until it blinks blue twice. Verify your installation in the app and access a detailed overview by selecting Network Map.

Connect your building automation system with a wireless Modbus
For installation, no Modbus cables are needed.

The LumenRadio device next to the Modbus master (client) can serve as your gateway, with both DIN rail and wall mount options available.

GATEWAY SET-UP

Set your Baud rate, stop bit and parity on the gateway (A or B).

A – Move the switch to ”COMM” or B – Move the switch to lumenradio-840-2110-Automation-System-with-Wireless-Modbus-fig-(6)”.

When the lights start blinking green, the node has found the gateway. This can take up to five minutes.

Go back to the gateway.
