The LED indicators make it easier to monitor the switch and its connections.

Ports
All RJ45 ports on the switch support Auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality, so you can use straight or crossover UTP/STP cables to connect the RJ45 ports to PCs, routers, hubs, other switches, etc. Cat5e/6/6a UTP/STP cables provide optimal performance; if a status LED doesn’t indicate a link or activity, check the corresponding device for proper setup and operation.
Power
Use the included power adapter to connect the “DC IN” port to a power outlet. Confirm that the PWR LED on the front panel is lit.
Installation
Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned:
- on a level surface that can support the weight of the switch;
- with at least 25 mm (approx. 1”) of clearance for ventilation;
- away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.;
- within 100 m (approx. 328’) of network devices it’s to be connected to.
Attach the rubber feet to the bottom of each corner of the switch to increase stability.

This warranty covers the following products against any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
A. We warrant cleaning products, compressed air, and consumables for 60 days from the date of delivery, or until their contents are completely depleted due to their natural use, whichever comes first.
B. We warrant products with moving parts for 3 years.
C. We guarantee other products for 5 years (products without moving parts), under the following conditions:
- All products covered by this warranty are subject to physical replacement, free of charge to the consumer.
- The retailer does not have service workshops, as the products covered by this warranty are not subject to repair or replacement, as their warranty is for physical replacement.
- The warranty covers exclusively those parts, equipment, or subassemblies that have been installed at the factory and does not include additional equipment or any equipment added by the user or distributor.
To make this warranty effective, simply present the product to the distributor at the address where it was purchased or at the address of IC Intracom México, S.A.P.I. de C.V., along with the accessories contained in its packaging, accompanied by the warranty policy duly completed and stamped by the retailer (the stamp and date of purchase are essential) where it was purchased, or the original invoice or purchase receipt clearly stating the model, serial number (when applicable), and date of purchase. This warranty is not valid in the following cases: If the product has been used in conditions other than normal; if the product has not been operated according to the user instructions; or if the product has been altered or repaired by the consumer or a third party.
