Installation of BasicRail Wall Heating in Wet Systems
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Inspection of the Pipe Wall: Remove unevenness and create a flat surface. Fig. 1
- Laying the Rails: Start by laying the rails vertically with a spacing of maximum 1 meter. Fig. 2
- Attaching the Rails: Attach the rails in three places with hollow wall anchors or nailed dowels and screws. Fig. 3
- Inserting Composite Pipe: Push composite pipe into the rails from bottom to top, starting with the supply line below. Fig. 4
- Pipe Bend Length: Do not exceed the maximum pipe bend length of 20 cm.Fig. 5
- Drilling for Wall Dowels: Drill at least 8 holes for wall dowels (70 mm) per square meter and attach the bottom section of the dowel. Fig. 6
- Attaching Metal Grid: Attach wall heating metal grid from top to bottom, lightly tensioned with 10 cm overlap, using the dowel upper section. Fig. 7
- Pressure Testing: After setting up the wall heating system, a pressure test to at least 6 bar according to the test report is required. Fig. 8
- Applying Plaster: Spray on the plaster in a single 35 mm layer from the top to bottom according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Fig. 9
- Smoothing Plaster: The applied layer of plaster can be smoothed or matted as required. Fig. 10
