Product Usage Instructions

Connections

Follow these steps for connecting the product:

  1. Connect the 3.5mm adapter to the AXTC-BM1 harness.
  2. Connect the harness to the wiring in the vehicle.
  3. Refer to specific radio connections for proper
    installation.

Programming

To program the interface, follow these steps:

  1. Open the driver’s door and keep it open during
    programming.
  2. Cycle the ignition on.
  3. Connect the harness to the interface and vehicle wiring.
  4. Tap the Volume Up button on the steering wheel.
  5. Continue following on-screen instructions for full
    programming.

Q: What should I do before installing the product?

A: Disconnect the negative battery terminal with the key out of
the ignition. Ensure all connections are secure before testing.

Q: How do I connect the product for vehicles without steering
wheel controls?

A: Tie the Brown and Brown/White wires together from the 3.5mm

the interface programs itself to the vehicle. Once programmed, the LED

If the interface fails to function, press and release the reset button, then repeat the programming process from step 4 to try again.

Final LED Feedback

At the end of programming the LED will turn Solid Green which indicates programming was successful. If the LED didn’t turn Solid Green, reference the list below to understand which programming section the problem may stem from.

Note: If the LED shows Solid Green for Pass (indicating everything programmed correctly), yet the steering wheel controls don’t work, make sure that the 3.5mm jack is plugged in, and plugged into the correct jack in the radio. Once corrected, press the reset button, then program again.
