Device Overview

Autom8 is a compact Bluetooth device that plugs directly into the OBD-II port of your vehicle. It allows you to wirelessly monitor and diagnose your vehicle’s performance via our dedicated mobile application.

Compatibility

Volkswagen and Audi Specific vehicles ranging from model years 2002-2024

Getting Started

Step 1: Download the Mobile App

Android Users:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for “Autom8 V2”.
- Download and install the app.
iOS Users:
- Open the App Store.
- Search for “Autom8 V2”.

Step 2: Connect the Autom8 Device

Locate your vehicle’s OBD-II port. It is typically found under the dashboard, near the driver’s side foot well area for most vehicles.
Plug the Autom8 device into the OBD-II port.

Step 3: Establish Bluetooth Connection

Turn on your vehicle’s ignition to allow a connection to the Autom8 device.

Open the Autom8 App on your mobile phone.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to pair your phone with the Autom8 device.
- On Android and iOS: The app will scan for nearby devices. Select Autom8 from the list.
Once paired, the app will confirm the connection, and you can now access vehicle data.
