Product Usage Instructions

Installation Guide

Install Grain Bucket Rotor: Place the grain bucket rotor into the base of the main unit.

Install Food Tank: Align the large and small ports on the food tank with the corresponding serial number position on the main unit.
Install Food Tank Lid: Secure the food tank lid by aligning it with the buckle track and turning it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Place the feeder base on a level surface with the food bowl attached to the base.

Key Description

Feed/Unlock button: Press once to feed your pet. Long press to unlock or reset the device.
Reset: Long press to clear all data and restore factory settings.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Safety Instruction

Children must be accompanied by adults to use it.
Do not use the feeder for pets who cannot reach the food tray or have physical disabilities.

Do not immerse the base part in water, which will damage electronic components such as control panel.
Do not place any foreign objects into the pet feeder.

Do not put canned or wet food into the feeder.
Do not disassemble the equipment by yourself.

Do not modify the pet feeder.
If the equipment malfunctions or parts are damaged, do not repair the pet feeder by yourself, contact your seller immediately to solve the problem.

Be sure to unplug the product when not in use or before cleaning it.
If the equipment’s power plug becomes wet, turn off the power at the outlet and do not attempt to unplug it.

Notice

Please purchase hard plastic protector from hardware store to protect plugs and power cord then prevent your pet from damaging the accessories.

Do not put the pet feeder in an high temperature place.The temperature should be within the range of 0 ℃~40 ℃.
Please use alkaline Size D battery for power supply. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Check the battery regularly. be sure to replace the battery if you are traveling or on business.
Do not lift the pet feeder directly with the cover, food bucket and food tray. Hold the base with both hands to lift and carry, while keeping the device in an upright position.

Only applicable to dry food with a diameter of 3-10mm. Larger foods may become stuck or block the food outlet.
Please read and follow all important instructions listed on the pet feeder and packaging carefully.

Installation Guide

Install Grain Bucket Rotor
Please put the grain bucket rotor into the base of the main unit correctly as shown.
Install Food Tank
1. Pay attention to the large (A) and small (B) alignment ports, and place them in the corresponding serial number position of the main unit.
2. Put the food tank into the corresponding buckle track as shown, align with the mark , and turn clockwise from ① to ② until you hear a click and tighten. After this installation is completed, confirm again that the tightening is not loose.
Install Food Tank Lid
Pick up the food tank lid with both hands, align it downward at the food tank buckle and fasten the buckles on both sides to finish.
Place the feeder base on a level surface with the food bowl stuck to the base.

Key Description

Feed/Unlock button:
- Feeding function: press once to feed once.
- Unlocking function: When there is no operation on the button for 30 seconds, the button will be locked with a beep sound. Press and hold the button again for 3 seconds with two beep beep sounds to unlock it.

Reset: In the unlocked state, long press to clear all data. A “di” sound will be heard in 6 seconds, and the device will be restored to factory settings, network configuration information, feeding plan, feeding records, etc.

Note：

The key is automatically locked after 30 seconds of no operation.

Key use is only effective when the key is unlocked.

Note：
When the equipment fails (low battery, motor blockage, insufficient grain residue, clogged grain outlet) App pushes exception alerts

Description of Low Power Consumption

When the feeder is not connected to a power source, it is battery powered by default. If you need to use it unplugged, please make sure that you have installed batteries as required.
When the feeder is battery-powered, the power is limited, in order to ensure that the feeder has a long life and does not interfere with feeding, the feeder continues to enter the low-power mode after 30s of no operation, it will not support the remote control of the App, but the feeding results and the status of the feeder continue to be displayed.
If you need to use the App function, please connect the power cord and use it after successful network distribution.

INSTRUCTIONS

Installation
Complete assembly according to the steps.

Connect the power supply

Plug the 5V/1A power adapter into the wall socket and connect the device.
After plugging in, the bottom of the equipment is a rocker switch, which needs to turn on.and the LED light will light up, indicating that the feeder is powered on.
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder and install 3 pcs Size D Battery (not necessary) to prevent power failure

Note:

Does not including battery.

Before turning on the power, make sure that all parts

Put pet food in the food tank

Open the top cover by pressing and holding the open button on both sides to break it outward;

Pour in dry pet food;
Close the lid and press the snaps on both sides to secure it.

Note：

Do not place canned, wet or wet pet food.
The recommended pet food size range is 3-10 mm.

Lock/Unlock
Press the key for 30 seconds without operation, the key will be locked with a “di” sound, press and hold again for 3 seconds, the key will be unlocked with two “di”.

Attention:

Any button cannot be operated in the locked state, and it must be unlocked to be used normally.
The locked state does not affect the operation of the App.

Feed
Manual feeding: 1 portion of food is dispensed with a short press.

Attention:

Please unlock the device before feeding.

Feeding schedule will not be affected.

Reset

In the unlocked state, press and hold for 6 seconds to make a “di” sound, and the device will restore the factory settings, network information, feeding schedule, feeding records, etc.
The network can be reconfigured after reset.

SMART LIFE APP-SPECIFIC OPERATIONS

Scan the QR code to download the exclusive APP to register an account and log in.

Enter the main interface of APP and add devices.
Open the Bluetooth of your cell phone and allow permission, enter the interface, wait for the automatic discovery of the device, click “Add”.
Enter the Wi-Fi password (the name can not use Chinese, the password can not use special symbols)

Wait for the device to connect to the network, it shows that the device has been added successfully, tap Next.
Add successfully, you can customize the device nickname, click the upper right corner to finish!
On the home page, you can choose the number of servings according to your needs, and tap “Feed” to feed immediately.

Tap “Feeding Plan” in the home page to add regular feeding.
You can set the time and number of servings according to your pet’s eating pattern, set it to every day from Monday to Sunday, and then tap “Save” to save it.
Customize the number of servings, the maximum number of servings can be set to 15 powder.

Enter the setting options, you can turn on or off the auto-lock, check other basic functions.
Tap Settings to share devices, remove devices, check network and other functions.

SIMPLE TROUBLESHOOTING

Programs for problem solving

I press any button without a response
The key will be locked automatically when there is no operation for 30 seconds, please press and hold for 3 seconds to unlock the key.

The App can’t connect to the feeder

Please check if the Wi-Fi name and password are in Chinese or longer than 12 digits, and make sure the Wi-Fi type is 2.4G.
Please restart your phone, close the non-system software that starts automatically on boot, turn on the Bluetooth and positioning of your phone, and try to reconnect again.

The feeder does not dispense food properly or does not dispense food at all
Please check if there is too much grain in the food bowl or if it causes blockage of the grain passage, if so, please clean the grain passage and the grain outlet in time; when using battery power, please check if the battery is dead and if the battery is leaking.

Feeder display offline
Please check whether the distance of the feeder from your home router is more than 10 meters (effective distance of 10 meters); try not to separate walls in the middle, according to the characteristics of Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi signal across the wall will drop sharply, and the connection appears to be unstable, which will lead to the device offline.

No response to power on
Please make sure the power is plugged in. If the check is correct and the device still does not power on normally, please contact your dealer or customer service in time.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Follow the steps to create a cleaning chart

Remove the top cover and empty the grain drum of grain (make sure)
Grasp the grain barrel by hand, hold the base and rotate it counterclock wise to remove the barrel
Remove the bottom of the grain barrel

Please empty the food tray and remove the food tray
Rinse in water or with food-grade detergent and air dry
The base of the main unit can be wiped with a damp towel, do not rinse with water
