  • To clean a disc, wipe the surface from the center hole outward towards the outer edge with a soft, dry cloth.

  • Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperature for extended periods of time.
  • Printable CD-R and CD-RW discs are not recommended, as the label side may become sticky and damage the unit.
  • Use a soft oil-based felt-tipped pen to write information on the label side. Never use a ballpoint or hard-tipped pen, as doing so may damage the recorded side.
  • Do not use irregularly-shaped CDs (octagonal, heart-shaped, business card size, etc), as they will damage the unit.
  • Read all precautions supplied with any CD-R or CD-RW disc
  • Never handle a disc with dirty fingers.

FAQS

Does the lighting around the dial stay on all the time or only when it’s in use?

The dial lights are only lit when the unit is on. World Wide Stereo is 43 years old and an authorized Victrola dealer.

Does it come with a 45 rpm adapter?

Yes, it does. Though I have not tried that yet. But so far, have played several old 33 1/3 LPs and it is working really well.

Is an external amp connected to the rear aux or front aux? if so, how do I play FM, phono, and cd without moving the dial to aux?

The 3.5mm AUX-IN jack on the front is to connect a portable device to play, for example, music files that have been downloaded to a smartphone or tablet. The LINE OUT RCA jacks on the rear are for connection to, for example, a tape recorder. Line out is at a fixed level, independent of the volume control, and is not suitable, nor recommended, for connection to an amplifier unless it has its own volume control. World Wide Stereo is 42 years old and a proud authorized Victrola dealer.

Does the arm automatically return?

No, the arm doesn’t automatically return on its own. It’s a very nice record player tho. So sorry it took me so long to answer this.

Does this unit connect to blue tooth speakers?

No, it will only connect as output to a blue tooth device. You can play music wirelessly from your phone through the unit, for instance, but you cannot connect the device itself to external blue tooth speakers. It does have a headphone andrca out connections, though.

Can you add extra speakers to this unit?

Yes, there is an RCA output in the back. We have it hooked up to 2 speakers via RCA cables.

Do you have the option of hooking up additional speakers to this system?

yes

Is this 220v?

No, it is 110.

Can you close the lid when playing records?

The lid may be closed when playing records. World Wide Stereo is 43 years old and an authorized Victrola dealer.

What is the return policy?

No idea – loved product would not return

Does it work on 220-volt plugs?

No, sorry it doesn’t

Once i connect an external amplifier with volume controls and bookshelf speakers, how do i play the cd, phono, fm radio on them?

The amplifier is connected via RCA cables (think red and white tips), which are provided in case you dont have them. Use the functions as normal. You will want to turn the volume all the way down on the Victrola unit, so you cannot hear it.

Does it work on 220-volt plugs?

No, sorry it doesn’t

Can you record vinyl to a computer?

This machine does not convert vinyl to mp3.

What is the size?

The size should be listed in the description

Why want the turntable turn?

The needle arm assembly may have a plastic lock device (put on for shipping). This will need to be removed. Select “Phono,” put a record on the turntable, lift the needle arm assembly, then the turn table should start to turn/rotate.
