General Safety Notes

Failure to observe the following instructions can lead to serious injury or death:

• Do not connect devices with damaged or open housings or terminals to the mains.
• Wait for 10 minutes after disconnecting the device to allow capacitors to discharge before removing doors or covers.
• Ensure that the compensation system has been de-energized.

Installation and Commissioning

1. Compare the connection data of the CX plus with the data of the supply network and installation before installation.
2. Disconnect the working area from voltage and secure it against unauthorized restart.
3. Short-circuit the current transformer to prevent high voltages.
4. Disconnect and remove the old reactive power controller.
5. Plug the CX plugs into the switch panel section and fix it with the two mounting brackets.
6. Connect the protective conductor to the PE terminal of the metal back of the CX Plus.
7.  Connect the connecting lines as shown in the wiring diagram.
8. Remove the current transformer jumper.
9. Switch on the voltage and verify the proper connection.
10. Initiate user-guided initial commissioning (FIrSt SEtUP).

Questions During Commissioning

1. No AUTO display control stopped: Check for manual operation, switched-off control, high temperature, low current, or voltage/THD issues.
2. U ALARM display voltage out of tolerance: Verify settings for rated voltage and voltage transformer.
3. I Lo ALARM displays no current flow: Check for correct connection from the current transformer, removed jumper, transformation ratio, or lack of current.
