Phason Controls KPEC-PLUS-TOUCH PEC Plus User Guide

The Plus Touch upgrade kit (model KPEC-PLUS-TOUCH) is a display kit that converts a PEC Plus to a Plus Touch. Upgrading your PEC Plus is as easy as removing the PEC Plus display, installing the Plus Touch display, and then reprogramming your control.

You will need to reprogram your control after upgrading it. For programming instructions, see the user manual on the USB drive.

Removing the old display

Before servicing the control, switch OFF the power at the source.

1. Switch off the power to the control.
2. Remove the cover from the unit.
3. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the control board and then remove the display.

Installing the new display

1. Connect the ribbon cables from the display to the control board.
   
2. Switch on the power to the control and verify it operates properly. If it does not, check the wiring and cable connections. If the unit still will not operate properly, contact your dealer.
3. Fasten the cover to the enclosure using the four screws.
