FAQs
The range of the remote control is up to 90 feet (30 meters).
Yes, you can use it with other devices.
The dimensions are 4.7″ x 2.4″ x 0.8″.
This remote control has a voltage of 3V.
Yes, it is compatible with other brands.
You can use your phone to remotely operate plugged-in gadgets utilising remote control outlets that link to your wifi network. You may use your voice to operate the smart remote control outlets when linked to a voice assistant like Alexa or Google Home.
Turn the power off and on at the mains, then press and hold the ALL OFF button on the remote control until the red LED starts to flash more rapidly. After releasing the button, the socket will be cleared of all channels and be ready to be set up on a new channel.
To control both 1-outlet and 2-outlet switches from Fosmon outside simultaneously, couple the remote with the switches. Pressing the remote button after plugging the outlet in completes the pairing process. NOTE: Once a remote and an outlet switch are coupled, they cannot be separated.
Choose “Controllers” and then “Change Grip/Order” from the HOME Menu. Press and hold the SYNC Button on the Pro Controller you want to pair for at least one second while the next screen is displayed. The player LED(s) corresponding to the controller number will stay lit after pairing.
The Bluetooth on the Nintendo Switch can be used to connect controllers or headphones. Even controllers from other manufacturers can be used with the Switch if you purchase a Bluetooth adaptor. When the Switch is docked or in handheld mode, these Bluetooth adapters can be utilized.
A small Wi-Fi-enabled power adaptor called a “smart plug” is plugged into a standard wall outlet and manages the electricity supply to connected devices. Once configured, a smart plug can be operated using an app on your phone or tablet, a smart speaker, or a smart display.
To turn the same receiver on and off, I bought a second remote (Fosmon Outdoor Wireless Remote Control for C-10683 and C-10741US – Black). The remote controls are “paired” so that they programme to the same code. It’s false what the product description claims about what you can and cannot do.
It should operate when connected into an extension chord from either end; there is no reason why it shouldn’t. I connected my shop vacuum and table saw to the power strip after plugging it into the wireless remote. The remote control worked well to turn on and off the vacuum and saw.
If I were carrying out what you want to do, I would definitely say yes. A 1/5 HP motor uses perhaps 4-6 amps. The wireless remote would therefore be on a typical residential 15 amp breaker because it is waterproof and rated for 120 volts. Therefore, you would have plenty of amps to finish the work. For the price of the remote, I would most definitely give it a try.
