DSI Gutta Percha Solvent
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PURPOSE
DSI GuttaSoft is a gutta percha point solvent.
It’s recommended for fitting the primary gutta percha in root canal filling techniques, using the lateral condensation method.
Using DSI GuttaSoft for the retreatment after root canal gutta percha condensation is possible as well.
DIRECTION FOR USE
FITTING THE PRIMARY GUTTA POINT
The DSI Gutta Soft solvent softens the surface of the point, so it better adapts to the contour of the root canal. Perfect marginal fit and precise root canal anatomy recreation is achieved without the need of a heat treatment. Choose the needed size of gutta percha, dip it into the Gutta Soft liquid for 2 seconds and insert into the previously prepared, processed and dried root canal.
Immediately after that, point should be condensed with the solvent lubricated spreader (while the plasticity remains).
Add more gutta points if necessary.
RETREATMENT
Apply 2-3 drops of the DSI Gutta Soft solvent into the pulp chamber. Wait 1-2 minutes. Using the manual endodontic instrument, remove the softened gutta Pecha. Repeat the process by adding the solvent and rinsing with sodium hypochlorite alternately until the canal is completely cleared.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
If the conditions of correct storing, transporting and following the instructions, no adverse effects should appear.

Solvent liquid (dropper bottle) 10ml
STORAGE
Store in a dry place (humidity < 50%) in tightly closed containers (+5°C…+30°C). Always replace the bottle cap immediately after use.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes!
