BASICS

Initial Setup

Alarm Clock
Insert the 5V Power Adapter into an outlet, and then plug it into the Power Jack on the back of the Alarm Clock. Next, remove the Insulation Tab from the Battery Compartment located on the bottom of the Alarm Clock.

Thermo-Hygro (TH) Sensor
Install 2 fresh “AA” batteries according to polarity and replace battery cover. The blue LED light will flash when transmitting.

Note: It may take up to 10 minutes for your sensor data to appear on your Alarm Clock’s screen.

Alarm Clock Settings

1. When the Alarm Clock is first powered on, it will begin searching for your outdoor sensor, which should connect shortly.
2. To manually set your time, date, and other settings, hold the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.

Thank You

• Use the +/- buttons on the top of the Alarm Clock to adjust the values.
• Press the SET button to confirm selection and move to next step.
• You may exit the Settings Menu at any time by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.

Notes: Weekday will set automatically after year, month, & date settings are adjusted.

If you’re connected to the Wi-Fi, the time and date will automatically update from the Internet. See pages 3-4 for more information.

Buttons & Ports

1. ALARM
   Press to activate/deactivate alarm. Hold to enter Alarm Settings Menu.
2. EXTRA SENSOR
   Press to toggle between alarm time, nap timer duration, internet outdoor temperature*, or add-on sensor data. Hold to add additional sensors.
3. PROJECTION
   Press to adjust projection intensity.
4. PROJ INFO
   Press to toggle through projection options. Hold to alternate projection between available options.
5. SNOOZE/LIGHT
   Press to snooze sounding alarm, adjust backlight, or hold to enter Auto-Dim Settings.
6. PLUS/MINUS (+/-)
   Use to adjust values, hold to change values quickly. Hold +/- buttons together to clear and search for a new Wi-Fi connection.
7. SET
   Press to view Wi-Fi status.
   Hold to enter Settings Menu.
8. NAP
   Press to start Nap Countdown Timer. Hold to set Nap Timer duration.
9. USB CHARGING PORT
   Using your own USB cable, conveniently charge 1 Amp devices.

*Your Alarm Clock must be connected to Wi-Fi to receive Internet data. Internet data updates 4-6 times a day.

LCD Display Brightness
Adjusting the LCD Display Brightness: Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to adjust the backlight intensity. There are 4 brightness levels, plus an off option.

Auto-Dim Settings: Program your Alarm Clock to automatically dim during preselected times.

1. Hold the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to enter the Auto-Dim Settings Menu.
2. Press the +/- buttons to turn the Auto-Dim feature on or off. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to confirm.
3. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the starting hour. Press SNOOZE/ LIGHT to confirm.
4. Press the +/- buttons to adjust the stopping hour. Press SNOOZE/ LIGHT to confirm and exit.

AUTO DIM will appear on the LCD when the Auto-Dim feature activated

Connecting to the App

Stay connected to your home anytime, anywhere with the La Crosse View app. Monitor home conditions and set alerts so your home can get ahold of you when something seems off. Connecting your alarm clock is optional and the display will function as a standalone unit without the Wi-Fi connection. However, we recommend connecting during the initial setup, as it will save you time and unlock all of the advanced features right

  Visit the App Store or Google Play Store to download the free La Crosse View app onto your mobile device.
• Launch the App
  Open the La Crosse View app and follow the on-screen setup instructions.

Connecting Your Alarm Clock
Now that you’ve created your La Crosse View account, it’s time to connect your Alarm Clock to your home router using the La Crosse View app.

Connecting to Your Wi-Fi Network

1. The La Crosse View app is required to connect the Alarm Clock to your Wi-Fi network. Download, install, and log into your La Crosse View account first.
2. Follow the initial app instructions or manually add the display into your account.
   • New User Initial Setup: When first setting up your Alarm Clock, the app it will lead you through a series of instructions to help get your Alarm Clock added into your account and connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
   • Manually Add & Connect Display: After the initial walk-through, Alarm Clocks can be added and connected via the Devices tab in the app’s main menu. Simply tap the Add Device or Plus (+) button at the bottom of the Devices page in the app.
3. When connected, the indicator on the display will become solid.

Checking Your Alarm Clock’s Wi-Fi Status
Press the SET button on the top of the Alarm Clock to view your Wi-Fi Status.

ALARM

Time Alarm: Setting the Alarm

1. Hold the ALARM button on the top of the alarm clock to enter the Alarm Settings Menu.
2. Use the +/- buttons to set your desired time. Press ALARM to confirm.
3. Next, use the +/- buttons to set your desired snooze duration (5 to 120 minutes). Press ALARM to confirm and exit the Alarm Settings Menu.
4. Your sound alarm is now activated, as indicated by the icon on the LCD.

Activating & Deactivating the Alarm

1. Press the ALARM button to activate/deactivate the alarm and to view your alarm time.
2. The icon will appear on the LCD when the alarm is active.

Snooze Duration Countdown
When your alarm sounds, tap the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to snooze your alarm for your preselected snooze duration. A countdown will appear on screen. When the snooze time reaches “00,” the alarm will sound again. The snooze feature can be repeated as many times as desired.

Viewing Your Data

1. FORECAST ICONS (or Moon Phase)
   Represent a future prediction of the weather to come over the next 12 hours*
2. CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION
   Predicted chance of rainfall in the next 12 hours. Displayed as a percentage.*
3. OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY
   Current Outdoor Temperature and Humidity
4. SENSOR RECEPTION INDICATOR
   Indicates if the alarm clock is receiving data from the sensor
5. FORECASTED HIs and LOs* (or Indoor Comfort Level)
   Daily Forecasted Highs and Lows from AccuWeather*
6. INDOOR TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY
   Current Indoor Temperature and Humidity

*Your Alarm Clock must be connected to Wi-Fi to receive AccuWeather data. If unconnected, forecast scene will be replaced by Moon Phase icons and daily highs and lows will be replaced with Indoor Comfort Level.

Please Note: The Forecast Icons may not represent your current weather. They are a future prediction of the weather to come over the next 12 hours and will update 4-6 times a day. When using the clock without Wi-Fi connection, or if you choose to Opt-Out of internet weather and time services, your Moon Phase will appear. When connected to Wi-Fi and using internet services, the clock will show forecast icons and chance of precipitation values powered by AccuWeather.*

Your display must be connected to Wi-Fi to receive AccuWeather forecast data.

Forecasted HIs & Los and Indoor Comfort Level
When connected to Wi-Fi, the Alarm Clock will show forecasted daily HI and LO temperatures, powered by AccuWeather. Without Wi-Fi, or if you chose to opt-out of internet weather and time services, this section will show your current indoor comfort level.

Indoor Comfort Level Readings

Mounting Your Thermo-Hygro Sensor

• Use the hanging hole on the back to mount the sensor. Or, insert one mounting screw through the front of your sensor.
• Mount your sensor on a north-facing wall or in any shaded area. Under an eave or deck rail is preferred to avoid inaccurate readings from the sun.
• The maximum wireless transmission range to the Alarm Clock is up to 400 feet (122 meters) in open air, not including walls or floors.
• Be sure your sensor is mounted vertically, to allow moisture to drain out properly.

EXTRA SENSORS

Add-On Sensors
Whether you choose to connect with the La Crosse View app or not, this alarm clock can display data for up to 4 extra sensors. This data will appear in the green section on the LCD, in your projection image, and in your La Crosse View app if connected. Adding Extra Sensors to Your Alarm Clock

1. Hold the EXTRA button until you see the Sensor Reception Indicator start to animate.
2. Install batteries into your sensor. If the sensor has a TX button, press it to force a transmission signal. This button is usually located in or near the sensor’s battery compartment. The LED light on the sensor will flash once.
3. Your sensor should connect within the next 3 minutes, briefly displaying its ID and type on the LCD. The Sensor Reception Indicator will show solid on the screen when a sensor is connected.

Note: When first powering up, or after a factory reset, extra sensors should automatically connect to your alarm clock.

Viewing Your Sensor Data: LCD
Press & release the EXTRA button to cycle through the data you’d like displayed on the LCD. The Auto Scroll Icon will appear if activated.

Viewing Your Sensor Data: Projection

1. Hold the PROJ INFO button to choose the Alternate Projection Mode. ALT WITH TIME OFF will appear on the LCD.
2. Press the +/- buttons to select ALT WITH TIME ON.
3. Press the PROJ INFO button to toggle through the selections.
4. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to exit the Projection Menu.

PROJECTION

Adjusting the Projection Image

• Adjusting the Projection Brightness
  Tap the button to adjust the projection’s brightness. There are 3 levels, plus an off option.
• Tilting the Projection Tube
  The Projection Tube tilts forwards and backwards to adjust the location of the projection image.

Rotating Your Projection Image
Use the bottom of the Projection Tube to rotate viewing angle of the image.

Alternating Your Projection Image
You can alternate between time and sensor projection options. Please see page 12 for more information.

Note: The fixed focus projection image will look best at about 7ft. (2.1m).

• Network Speed: Must Be Greater than 1 Mbps

Please Note: If you have multiple band router, this device will connect to the 2.4GHz band when connecting to Wi-Fi.

• Apple phones require iOS with cellular or Wi-Fi service.
• Android phones require Android OS with cellular or Wi-Fi service.

Factory Reset

If you are experiencing issues, press and hold the ALARM and NAP buttons down together until the display beeps. You do not need to remove the button cell battery to restart the alarm clock.
