G106 HF Transceiver Operation Manual
The G106 is a 5W portable QRP transceiver featuring an SDR circuit structure with 16bit-CODEC sampling for superior performance. It supports USB/LSB/CW/AM modes and includes WFM (87-108 MHz) receiving for local FM broadcasts. A CW digital filter with three bandwidths aids in connecting with distant stations. With the optional DE-19 digital adapter, it can connect to a computer for FT8 communication.
As an entry-level portable SDR transceiver, the G106 is designed for CW and FT8 operation.

- ACC interface: For accessories.
- Key wiring diagram: For connecting straight keys or morse keys. Ensure correct plug conversion (2-pole 6.5mm to 3-pole 3.5mm) to avoid continuous CW transmission.
Power Connection:
The G106 operates on 9-16V DC with a minimum current capacity of 3A. Connect the power supply carefully, ensuring correct polarity (white-core line to positive, metal-shielded line to negative). Using an EMC ferrite bead on the power line can help prevent interference. Incorrect polarity or abnormal voltage can damage the unit and may void the warranty.
Operation:
The G106 utilizes a multi-function menu system. Functions are organized into menu pages, with four options per page.
- Accessing Menus: Short-press a multi-function button to open the menu. Turn the main knob to cycle through menu pages. Press the multi-function button corresponding to the on-screen menu item to execute.
- Saving Changes: Some functions require pressing "SAVE" to confirm adjustments. "QUIT" exits without saving.
