On-Wall Surface Mounting

Back Box - TA-1

⚠️ The IP-66 rating is only valid when TA-1 Back Box is used.

Diagram of the TA-1 Back Box for on-wall mounting. It shows mounting holes at 120mm vertical and 76mm horizontal spacing. Cable entry points are labeled M20 and M16. Dimensions include 150mm height, 120mm width, and 25mm depth. Recommended screw diameter is ISO M6 or ANSI 1/4". The box includes 4x M5 fasteners, 2x Grommets, 1x M20 Cable Gland, and 4x Washers.

On-Wall Surface Mounting Procedure

  1. Mount the back box onto the wall using A4 socked head screws.
  2. Fit the gasket onto the back box with the ridged side facing down. Then plug the Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port on the station.
  3. Mount the Turbine station onto the back box with the M5 fasteners, applying 1.5 Nm torque.

Flush Mounting

2-Gang Double-Depth Back Box - TA-2

⚠️ It is recommended to utilize back boxes with weep holes at the back.

Diagram of the TA-2 2-Gang Double-Depth Back Box for flush mounting. It shows cutouts for electrical boxes with dimensions: 89mm width, 96mm height, 23mm depth, 46mm/25mm hole spacing, and 48mm height for mounting holes.

Flush Mount Bracket - TA-5

⚠️ The TA-5 Bracket or other customized solution is required for flush mounting.

Diagram of the TA-5 Flush Mount Bracket. It shows a metal bracket with cutouts for mounting to a 2-gang electrical box and for the Turbine station. Dimensions include 74mm height, 91mm width, 83mm/87mm cutout dimensions, and 50mm mounting hole spacing. It includes 4x M5 Fasteners and 4x #6-32 UNC Pan Head Screws.

Environmental Information

The WEEE Directive does not legislate that Zenitel, as a 'producer', shall collect 'end of life' WEEE. This 'end of life' WEEE should be recycled appropriately by the owner who should use proper treatment and recycling measures. It should not be disposed to landfill.

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the [crossed-out wheeled bin symbol]. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
