Please, take note that it's a user's responsibility for the security and any other problems caused by mismanaging a password. overview IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Before installation, read all manuals thoroughly and proceed with the installation according to the directions. 2. When connecting a power cable or signal line, check the external connection port first. Incorrectly connecting the power supply may cause fire, electric shock or damage to the product. 3. If you notice any unusual smells or smoke coming from the unit, stop using the product. If this occurs, immediately disconnect the power source and contact the service center. Continued use may cause fire or electrical shock. 4. Do not disassemble while the power is on. 5. Before the power is supplied, confirm that all power cords have been properly connected. An insecure connection may result in fire. 6. If needed, you can disassemble the system after the power has been shut off for 30 minutes. If the system has been in a high or low temperature environment, you may be injured by high heat or low chill of the surface. 7. Before supplying power to the device, make sure the power source supports AC110-220V, 1.4 A (TNU-6324E), 1.7 A (TNU-6324ER), and 50/60 Hz. Power in excess of the rated voltage may cause a fire. 8. Lightning or thunder may cause damage to the device. When installing the product, consider taking measures that will minimize damage to the product in the event of lightning. 9. When the system is installed, it should be tightly anchored on a floor that can sufficiently sustain its weight against any strong wind. The fixing method and material used must be able to sustain at least 4 times the system's weight. 10. Since the system is remotely controlled and sometimes changes its position, it should be so carefully installed that it does not create any harmful environment, i.e., its moving part does not injure people. 11. Do not attach anything to the system. 12. When installing in a dangerous environment, remove the equipment from the power supply to reduce the possibility of ignition. 13. Install explosion-proof seal fitting at the cable entry. 14. During the assembly, fasten the bolt with a proper amount of torque (450N/ ). 15. Do not install near a heater or motor. Install the system in a place with good ventilation. 16. Technical support should be provided by authorized technical engineers. 17. Do not install the product in a location that is humid, or where the product will be exposed to dust or soot. 18. Do not drop objects on the product, or apply strong impact to it. Keep away from locations where there is excessive vibration or magnetic interference. 19. Do not install on environment where temperature would exceed its operating temperature. The equipment is certified for use in ambient temperatures from -40°C to 60°C (Start up should be done at above -30°C) 20. Keep out of direct sunlight, and away from heat radiation sources. 21. If you want to relocate a product that has already been installed, be sure to turn off the power and then move or reinstall it. Failure to turn off the power may result in fire or electric shock. 22. Install the product in a location with good ventilation. 23. The rubber part of the camera wiper is expendable. Replace with a new one if performance is degraded. 24. Before cleaning the system, disconnect it from the power supply. 25. This device has been verified using STP cable. The use of appropriate GND grounding and STP cable is recommended to effectively protect your product and property from transient voltage, thunderstroke, communication interruption. 26. Please use adequate equipment when handling heavy products to prevent any risk of injury. 27. For stable installation, you must use the provided accessories. If you use any other accessories not provided by us, the features/performance/safety of the product cannot be guaranteed. 28. Periodically remove dirt on the surface of the product to prevent increase in surface temperature of the product. 29. When cleaning the surface of the product, wipe the contaminated area with a clean soft dry cloth, or wipe the contaminated area after wring it thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth moistened with water. Do not use detergents, cosmetics, and oils that contain alcohol, solvent, or surfactants as they may cause damage or deformation of the product. If necessary, use a neutral detergent. We do not guarantee the quality of third-party products (e.g. lenses, accessories) that you separately purchase. In particular installation environments, there might be interference in radio communications. When interference of electromagnetic waves occurs between the product and radio communication device, it is recommended to keep a certain distance between the two or change the direction of the receiving antenna. To enhance security, it is recommended to configure a password with various combinations of special characters, numbers, upper cases, and lower cases. English _7 installation & connection INSTALLATION (TNU-6324ER, TNU-6324E) Precautions before installation Ensure you read out the following instructions before installing the camera: ~ Install the system based on the following directions. If you want to install using a different method, you should confirm the safety recommendations by making a request to the manufacturer in advance. ~ The weight of TNU-6324ER and TNU-6324E is approximately 36kg (without Pedestal) and 25kg (without pedestal), respectively. When installing the product, at least two people wearing a pair of non-slip gloves are needed for safety. ~ When removing or moving the camera from the package, be sure to use the provided rope for transport. After installing the camera, remove the rope for transport. ~ The product must be installed in a place that can support four times the weight of the camera and installation bracket combined. ~ Please be careful when installing the product as electrical abnormality or fire can be caused if the cable is caught and its coating is damaged. ~ When installing the camera, make sure that no one other than the authorized person approaches the installation site for safety. ~ If any accessories or non-standard products not shipped with this product are used, there is a potential safety risk that might cause accidents. Special conditions of use 1. The dimensions of flameproof joints are different from the values specified in the tables of the IEC/EN 60079-1 standard. Contact the manufacturer for details of the flameproof joints. 2. For equipment to which the cable is permanently connected, the user connects the free end of the cable in either a non-explosive atmosphere or an enclosure protected in a recognized protection mode suitable for the area. 3. The screws used for the assembly of the various parts of explosion-proof enclosures must be of quality higher or equal to A2-70. 4. Carrying camera using transporting rope. Our product provides a transporting rope. 5. Remove the cable only after completing installation. 6. For safety, at least two persons are need to carry the camera using the transporting rope. <TNU-6324ER> <TNU-6324E> Maintenance and Repair Contact a HANWHA VISION or WONWOO Engineering representative to send the device back for function verification. J ` There are no user-serviceable portions of the devices. ` When operating the devices in conjunction with a hazardous area, do not modify the system. If there is a defect, the product may need to be replaced. Repairs can only be performed by a WONWOO's specialist who is trained and authorized to repair the defect. ` When servicing, installing, and commissioning, the area must be free of all combustible material and/or hazardous explosive gas. Only the terminal compartment of the control unit is accessible to users. Under no circumstances shall the control unit or vent be dismantled or removed from the supplied enclosure, unless instructed in this manual. Contact HANWHA VISION or WONWOO Engineering customer service for an RMA (return merchandise authorization). 8_ installation & connection ! INSTALLATION & CONNECTION Camera Install Guide This device can be installed as following references. If you want to install the other way, you must contact manufacturer for safety recommendation. J ` The weight of TNU-6324ER and TNU-6324E is approximately 36kg (without Pedestal) and 25kg (without pedestal), respectively. It is highly recommended to wear proper non-slip gloves and the transporting rope. You need to be very careful when lifting. Installing Cable Entry How to install Sunshield Assemble the sunshield on the camera housing with the provided wrench bolts (M6X12). To install this device, install the Ex Equipment Cable Grands or Ex Components according to IEC 6007914 / EN 60079-14. 2. The main cable should be connected to a junction box or indirect input terminal box at a distance of at least 3m in length. <TNU-6324E> English _9 installation & connection Optional Accessories for Installation For your easier installation, you can purchase appropriate optional accessories available. ` Installing using Pedestal Mount ` Installing using Wall Mount <TNU-6324ER> <TNU-6324ER> <TNU-6324E> 1. Assemble the pedestal mount below the base housing with the provided wrench bolts (M8X15). 2. Install the pedestal mount on the floor using the anchor bolts. J ` When the camera is installed on a concrete floor, be sure to use an M8 anchor bolt. ` When installing the product, you should use a bracket and a surface that can support at least four times the weight of the product. 10_ installation & connection <TNU-6324E> 1. Assemble the wall mount below the base housing with the provided wrench bolts (M8X15). 2. Install the wall mount on the wall using anchor bolts. J ` When the camera is installed on a concrete floor, be sure to use an M12 anchor bolt. ` When installing the product, you should use a bracket and a surface that can support at least four times the weight of the product. ! INSTALLATION & CONNECTION ` Installing using Wall/Pole mount <TNU-6324ER> ` Installing using Wall/Corner mount <TNU-6324ER> <TNU-6324E> 1. Assemble pole mount sides with the wall mount using a set of 4 bolts. - Bolt set M12 bolt X M12 spring washer X M12 nut (2EA) 2. Install the pole mount on the round pillar with a steel band. J ` When installing the product, you should use a steel band and a surface that can support at least four times the weight of the product. <TNU-6324E> 1. Assemble corner mount sides with the wall mount using a set of 4 bots. - Bolt set M12 bolt X M12 spring washer X M12 nut (2EA) 2. Install the corner mount on the corner using anchor bolts. J ` When the camera is installed on a concrete floor, be sure to use an M12 anchor bolt. ` When installing the product, you should use a bracket and a surface that can support at least four times the weight of the product. English _11 installation & connection How to install the grounding wires CONNECTING WITH OTHER DEVICE <TNU-6324ER> <TNU-6324ER> Ethernet External cables <TNU-6324E> 1. Assemble the grounding cable as shown in the figure using the provided washers (M5, INTERNAL TOOTH) and screws (MS PH M5X8). 2. Connecting earth cable to external earth bar. J ` Do not disassemble the device during operation. The power should be turned off 30 minutes before disassembling for maintenance. ` A ground wire is not included in the accessories. The size of a ground wire should be at least 18AWG. Ethernet External cables <TNU-6324E> Power Supply Connect the power cable. J ` Be sure to turn off the power of the connected device and then connect the power of AC 110-220 V. 12_ installation & connection ! INSTALLATION & CONNECTION Ethernet Connection Connect the Ethernet cable to the local network or to the Internet. Insert it through the arrow direction. 2. Connect the LAN connector (male) to the cable. How to interconnect Washer pump This camera can be used with connected to the washer pump. ~ For more information about the washer pump connection and usage, see the descriptions of the external cables on page 13 and refer to the washer pump manual. 3. Connect the RJ45 modular jack (female) to the RJ45 connector (male). J ` Please, keep each of the parts separated. RJ45 connector (male) RJ45 modular jack (female) Rubber ring 4. Assemble by rotating the RJ45 modular jack (female) and the RJ45 protection cover clockwise (Follow the arrow). RJ45 connector protection cover Back cover 5. Assemble by rotating RJ45 protection cover and back cover clockwise (Follow the arrow). When the back cover is assembled, the cable waterproof gasket is tightly attached to the cable to make it waterproof. J ` You must fully assemble it to rotate the back cover up to the end of the screw thread of the RJ45 connector. NETWORK CONNECTION AND SETUP network connection and setup You can set up the network settings according to your network configurations. CONNECTING THE CAMERA DIRECTLY TO LOCAL AREA NETWORKING Connecting to the camera from a local PC in the LAN 1. Launch an Internet browser on the local PC. 2. Enter the IP address of the camera in the address bar of the browser. Camera Camera INTERNET External Remote PC Local PC <Local Network> DDNS Server (Data Center, KOREA) M ` A remote PC in an external Internet out of the LAN network may not be able to connect to the camera installed in the intranet if the port-forwarding is not properly set or a firewall is set. In this case, to resolve the problem, contact your network administrator. ` By factory default, the IP address will be assigned from the DHCP server automatically. If there is no DHCP server available, the IP address will be set to 192.168.1.100. To change the IP address, use the Device Manager. For further details on Device Manager use, refer to "Using Device Manager". (Page 16) CONNECTING THE CAMERA DIRECTLY TO A DHCP BASED DSL/CABLE MODEM Camera DSL/Cable Modem INTERNET External Remote PC DDNS Server (Data Center, KOREA) 1. Connect the user PC directly with the network camera. 2. Run the Device Manager and change the IP address of the camera so that you can use the web browser on your desktop to connect to the camera. 3. Use the Internet browser to connect to the web viewer. 4. Move to [Setup] page. 5. Move to [Network] [DDNS] and configure the DDNS settings. 6. Move to [Basic] [IP & Port], and set the IP type to [DHCP]. 7. Connect the camera, which was removed from your PC, directly to the modem. 8. Restart the camera. M ` For information on how to set DDNS, refer to the online help of Web Viewer. ` For information on how to set the IP format, refer to the online help of Web Viewer. English _15 network connection and setup USING DEVICE MANAGER M ` Device manager program can be downloaded from <Support>-<Online Tool> menu at Hanwha Vision website (https://www.HanwhaVision.com). ` More instructions of Device Manager can be found at <Help> menu of the main page. AUTOMATICALLY SEARCHING CAMERA If a camera is connected to the same network of the PC where device manager is installed, you can find network camera by using search function. 1. Click <Search> at the main page of device manager. 2. Check the camera from the list. ~ Check MAC address at the sticker attached to the camera. CONFIGURING IP ADDRESS If you want to change camera network setting, <Login OK> sign must be displayed at <Status>. Click <Authentication> at the main page to log in. Configuring Static IP Manually insert and configure IP address & port information. 1. Click the camera from the list that you want the change the IP setting. 2. Click <IP Assign> at the main page of device manager. 3. Select <Assign the following IP address>. ~ IP information of the camera will be displayed as previously set. 4. Fill in IP & Port related categories. If not using a Broadband Router For setting <IP Address>, <Subnet Mask>, and <Gateway>, contact your network administrator. ~ HTTP Port : Used to access the camera using the Internet browser, defaulted to 80. ~ RTSP Port: A port that controls real-time streaming. The initial value is 554. If using a Broadband Router ~ IP Address : Enter an address falling in the IP range provided by the Broadband Router. ex) 192.168.1.2~254, 192.168.0.2~254, 192.168.XXX.2~254 ~ Subnet Mask : The <Subnet Mask> of the Broadband Router will be the <Subnet Mask> of the camera. ~ Gateway : The <Local IP Address> of the Broadband Router will be the <Gateway> of the camera. M ` The settings may differ depending on the connected Broadband Router model. For more information, refer to the user manual of the applicable router. ` For more information about port forwarding of the broadband router, refer to "Port Range Forward (Port Mapping) Setup". Click [Apply] Button. 6. If the success message is displayed, click [OK]. 16_ network connection and setup ! NETWORK CONNECTION AND SETUP Configuring Dynamic IP Receive IP address from DHCP ~ Example of the Dynamic IP environment - If a Broadband Router, with cameras connected, is assigned an IP address by the DHCP server - If connecting the camera directly to modem using the DHCP protocols - If IPs are assigned by the internal DHCP server via the LAN 1. Click the camera from the list that you want to change the IP setting. 2. Click <IP Assign> at the main page of device manager. 3. Select <Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP)>. 4. Click [Apply] button. 5. If the success message is displayed, click [OK]. AUTOMATICALLY CONFIGURING IP 1. Click the camera from the list that you want to automatically configure the IP. TNU-6324ER 2. Click < + > at the main page of device manager. ~ Equipment Setting menu appears. 3. At the menu, click <Auto IP Configure>. 4. Click [Close] button. MANUALLY REGISTERING CAMERA If the camera cannot be found using search function, the camera can be registered remotely by manually inserting IP information, if the camera is connected to external network. 1. Click <Add Devices> - <Manually Add Device> at the main page of device manager. 2. Insert the range of IP address that you search. 3. Select the <Model Name> of the camera that you register, and insert HTTP port, ID, and password. 4. Click [Register] button. 5. Check if camera is registered. ~ Check MAC address at the sticker attached to the camera. English _17 network connection and setup PORT RANGE FORWARD (PORT MAPPING) SETUP If you have installed a Broadband Router with a camera connected, you must set the port range forwarding on the Broadband Router so that a remote PC can access the camera in it. Manual Port Range Forwarding 1. From the Setup menu of the Broadband Router, select <Applications & Gaming> - <Port Range Forward>. For setting the port range forward for a third-party Broadband Router, refer to the user guide of that Broadband Router. 2. Select <TCP> and <UDP Port> for each connected camera to the Broadband Router. The number of each port to be configured to the IP router should be set according to the port number designated in <Setup> - <Basic> - <IP & Port> on the camera web viewer. 3. When done, click [Save Settings]. Your settings will be saved. M ` Port forwarding setting is an example of setting CISCO IP router. ` The settings may differ depending on the connected Broadband Router model. For more information, refer to the user manual of the applicable router. Setting up Port Range Forward for several network cameras ~ You can set a rule of Port Forwarding on the Broadband Router device through its configuration web page. ~ A user can change each port using the camera setting screen. To check the DDNS address If the camera is connected directly to a DHCP-based cable modem or DSL modem, the IP address will change each time it tries to connect to the ISP (the company you subscribed to). If this is the case, you will not be informed of the IP address changed by DDNS. Once you register a dynamic IP-based device with the DDNS server, you can easily check the changed IP when you try to access the device.
