The MOUNTUP monitor arm offers two installation methods: C-Clamp and Grommet Mount.
5.1. Choose Your Mounting Method
Determine which mounting method is suitable for your desk. The C-clamp is drill-free, while the grommet mount requires a hole in your desk.

- Attach the detachable VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate VESA screws and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the screws are tightened securely.
- Slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the arm's VESA head until it clicks into place.
- Tighten the security screw on the VESA head to prevent accidental detachment.

6.1. Gas Spring Tension Adjustment
The gas spring tension needs to be adjusted to match your monitor's weight. If the monitor rises too easily or drops, adjust the tension:
- Monitor raises up: Turn the adjustment screw (located on the arm joint) clockwise (towards the "-" direction) to reduce tension for lighter monitors.
- Monitor drops down: Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (towards the "+" direction) to increase tension for heavier monitors.
- Giring: Hold the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment to prevent sudden movement.

Once the gas spring tension is correctly set, you can freely move the monitor up and down to your desired height. The arm allows for a height adjustment range of 13 inches, with a minimum height of 6.7 inches and a maximum height of 19.7 inches from the desk surface.

To adjust the monitor's tilt angle:
- Loosen the tilting bolt (turn towards the "-" direction) on the VESA head.
- Adjust the monitor to your desired tilt angle (+90° to -45°).
- Retighten the tilting bolt (turn towards the "+" direction) to secure the angle.
6.4. Swivel and Rotation
- Swivel: The arm joints allow for 180° swivel, and the VESA plate can swivel 360°, providing flexibility to share your screen or adjust viewing angles.
- Zivirandin: The VESA plate supports 360° rotation, allowing you to switch your monitor between landscape and portrait orientations.
