Installation method

Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the box) must be fitted to it.
These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.

Safety note: Don’t modify the product or exchange any parts. Cut off your home’s power installation to avoid electric shock while installing it and manipulating it. Do not cover the product once it is installed and connected to the power. Do not install the product on top of high-heat objects or in a wet place.

Initial setup

Download the app
The Magma smart heater compatible app is called Tuya Smart. There are two ways to download it: -Tap here to download the Tuya Smart app from Google Play or App Store.

You can also download the app directly by typing “Tuya Smart” in the Google Play or App Store search engine.

Pairing iOS / Android devices

1. First, and most importantly, make sure to have your smartphone’s Bluetooth and WiFi enabled.
2. Access the Tuya Smart app. Once inside, tap on add device.
3. Tap on the Small Home Appliances section on the left side of your screen. Then, tap on the first icon showing a heater that says Heater (Wi-Fi).
4. Enter your Wi-Fi address and password.
5. Then, follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Wait patiently for the device to be properly linked.
7. When the device is linked, this will appear. Simply wait for the device to be fully connected and ready to use.

Note

1. For a correct synchronization with the mobile phone, it is necessary to accept all the accesses requested by the app.
2. When linking your phone with the device for the first time, you must be connected to a WiFi network. Make sure that the light flashes and that the WiFi password you have entered is correct. The connection process may take several minutes, please be patient.
3. After the first connection, you can use a new WiFi or mobile data to control the device at any time and from any location.
4. Only compatible with 2.4 GHZ WLAN: Android 8.0 / iOS 11.0 and above. Do not use 5G WiFi.
5. The first connection should be made close to the router to ensure a faster connection.
6. When connecting multiple devices to the WiFi network, do not place them too close together as this may cause signal interference.

App

Temperature control
Adjust the temperature up to 37ºC by sliding your finger along the wheel or by using the (+) and (-) buttons at the bottom.
The chosen temperature will be displayed in the centre of the wheel and the current temperature will be displayed in small below it.

Heating modes
Choose between the 3 types of ventilation according to your needs by entering the Modes section of the app:
Select between:

1. Anti Frost
2. Auto – Eco Heat
3. Stop Heat – Low Heat

Power adjustment
From this section you can choose the power used from 3 available options.
Depending on the power chosen, the heater will consume more or less energy and will heat the room earlier or later.

Extra functions
In this section you can activate the countdown, setting the hours and minutes.
You can also activate the turbo function to heat rooms in less time.

Voice assistants
To set up your voice assistants through the app, tap on the top right corner and then on the edit icon. From here you will be able to permit access to third parties to control the heater, such as Alexa and Google Home.
You will be able to adjust the temperature, schedule timetables or simply turn the heater on and off with just a few words.
From this same screen you will also be able to configure other features of the heater, such as its device name, and access device information, among other data.

More about the App
You can adjust the different functions from the menu button at the top right corner of the App.

1. The device name can be changed as desired.
2. Device information.
3. Tap-to-Run and Automation allows you to check the Intelligent Automation to which your device is linked.
4. Supported third-party control provides information on how to connect your device with
   Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant.
5. Disconnection notice: allows you to alert yourself when your device is offline.
6. Create “Group” to control another smart device at the same time.
7. FAQ & Feedback allows users to report issues and obtain assistance.
8. Add to Home Screen allows you to add the smart device to your smartphone’s home screen.
9. Check the network of the device to check the status of the network connection.
10. Firmware information allows you to check the software or install updates on the device.

Remote control

The heater includes a remote control to also be able to make use it without the need of a phone.
Even though the Tuya Smart app is more complete, the remote control use is handier and more practical in most situations. These are the functions of the buttons.

1. Power on/off button: Press this button to turn the heater on or off.
2. Heat modes: Press this button to regulate 750W / 1250W / 2000W / ANTI-FROST temperature power.
3. Fan: Press the fan to open the key, you can open the fan or turn off the fan (on the screen fan icon is light fan, Figure off the wind organ).
4. WiFi: Press this button to activate the WiFi from the heater to connect with its own app.
5. Increase/decrease temperature: Press these buttons to increase or decrease the heat.
6. Timer: Press the timer button, each time the time is increased by 1 hour, when the timer time is 24:00, press the timer button, then the function is turned off, when the timer function is set, the timer countdown starts in 5 seconds, and after the timer is over, it enters standby mode.

Warnings

• Please strictly follow this user manual to install and use the product to avoid accidents.
• Do not modify any components.
• Disconnect the power supply and main switchboard before installation or maintenance work to avoid damage due to electric shock.
• Do not install the heater in unstable or unsafe locations.
• Do not cover the heater with blankets or similar objects.
• Do not tamper with the heater or any other components for installation, repair or testing.
• Do not install the heater on hot or damp surfaces.
