UT366A Digital Manometer User Manual
Introduction
The UT366A is an instrument designed for measuring gauge pressure and differential pressure. It features independent P1/P2 pressure measurement with LED indication. This device is widely applicable in industrial manufacturing, HVAC, and plumbing sectors. When paired with an optional pitot tube, the UT366A can also measure wind speed.

Accuracy: ±0.5% FS@25°C
Unit memory: When the product is turned on, its pressure unit defaults to the unit when it was turned off last time.
Auto power off: When the meter enables this function, it will power off automatically if no button press occurs for 5 minutes. An [APO] icon will appear on the screen.
Low battery indication: When the battery power is less than 3.7V, a low battery indicator [low battery] will appear.

Product Structure
The UT366A Digital Manometer consists of the following key components:
- Pressure connector: For connecting hoses to measure pressure.
- Probe indicator light: Indicates the status of the probe.

2. Button Combination
- [HOLD] + [UNIT]: Short press to enter/exit the setting menu.
- [P1/P2] + [MODE]: Short press to view the version number (NO.).
Operation
Turn on/off the meter:
Long press the [HOLD] button.
Data hold:
Short press the [HOLD] button to enable or disable data hold.
Unit conversion:
Short press the [UNIT] button to cycle through selectable units: kPa, mbar, bar, psi, mmHg, inH2O, inHg, Ozin², kgcm², ftH2O, mmH2O, hPa, m/s, fpm.
Wind Speed Unit Selection (m/s and fpm):
The units m/s and fpm are specifically for wind speed. To switch between them:
- Short press [HOLD] to enter the setting menu.
- Press [MODE] to enter the wind speed unit setting mode.
- Short press [UNIT] to switch between m/s and fpm.
- Press [HOLD] again to exit the setting menu.
Note: Wind speed measurement requires a pitot tube, which must be purchased separately.
Data zero:
If the displayed value is not zero when the meter is turned on and before connecting the hose, long press the [ZERO] button to zero the data. Both P1 and P2 will be zeroed simultaneously.
Switch channel:
The default channel upon turning on the meter is P1-P2 (displaying the difference between P1 and P2). Short press the [P1/P2] button to cycle through the following channels: P1-P2/P1, P1-P2/P2, P1/P2.
Turn on/off probe indicator lights:
Long press the [P1/P2] button.
Max/Min/Avg selection:
Short press the [MODE] button.
Turn on/off the backlight:
Long press the [MODE] button.
Turn on/off the auto power off function:
- Short press [HOLD] and [UNIT] to enter the setting menu.
- Short press [ZERO] to toggle the APO function ON or OFF.
- Short press [HOLD] and [UNIT] again to exit the setting menu.
When the APO function is turned on, an [APO] icon will appear on the screen. The meter will power off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Air density setting:
Air density setting is crucial for accurate wind speed measurements. The default air density is 1.293 kg/m³. For measuring other gases, this value can be adjusted.
- Short press [P1/P2] and [MODE] to enter the setting menu.
- Press [ZERO] twice to access the air density setting.
- Short press [HOLD] or [UNIT] to increment or decrement the selected digit.
- Short press [P1/P2] to move to the next digit.
- Short press [P1/P2] and [MODE] again, or short press [ZERO] once, to exit the setting menu.
Probe Indicator Lights Description:
The indicator lights provide visual feedback on pressure readings:
- P1+: Positive air pressure value (indicator light is green ?).
- P1-: Negative air pressure value (indicator light is red ?).
- P2+: Positive air pressure value (indicator light is green ?).
- P2-: Negative air pressure value (indicator light is red ?).
Note: In the P1-P2 channel, the indicator lights are off by default and cannot be turned on. Long press the [P1/P2] button to turn indicator lights on/off.
Maintenance and Repair
Replace batteries:
When the low battery indicator [low battery] is displayed, replace the batteries:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Take out the old batteries and insert three new 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover.
Clean the housing:
⚠️ WARNING: Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Avoid using corrosive detergents or solutions, as they can damage the housing, especially the LCD.
Storage:
If the meter is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage that could seriously damage the device.
Service:
Do not disassemble the meter or attempt internal modifications.
Troubleshooting
- "OL" or "-OL": The reading has exceeded the measurement range. Ensure measurements are taken within the specified range.
- "Lo": The wind speed reading is too low. Check if the pitot tube ends are connected reversely.
- "-" flashes when measuring wind speed: The data needs to be zeroed. Failure to do so may result in measurement errors.
- Wind speed unit flashes when pressing the "P1/P2" button: This indicates the P1-P2 channel is being used for wind speed measurement, which is the default and cannot be changed.
- "Err": An error has occurred with the ambient temperature compensation (NTC).
