3. Introduction

3.1 Description of the Transmitter

3.1.1 Overall Description

The device is a panel transmitter featuring a touchscreen display. Key components include:

  • 1 - Touch screen
  • 2 - Access to device settings menu
  • 3 - Software connection port
  • 4 - Transmitter power indicator
  • 5 - Wireless connection indicator
  • 6 - Front pressure connector (+)
  • 7 - Front pressure connector (-)
  • 8 - Probe connector

3.1.2 Screen Description

The screen displays measurement data and status indicators:

  • 1. Channel ID
  • 2. Alarm pictogram (⚠️ or no icon)
  • 3. Trend indicator (↑, ↓, or stable arrow)
  • 4. Measured value
  • 5. Unit of the measured value

Trend Indicator: Compares moving averages over the last hour (M1) and last 5 minutes (M2). A rising arrow indicates an upward trend (M1 < M2), a falling arrow indicates a downward trend (M1 > M2), and a stable arrow indicates no change (M1 = M2). Displayed after 5 minutes.

Alarm Pictogram: Indicates alarm status. A bell icon signifies an active alarm. When an alarm is active, the channel background turns red. If an error occurs, the background turns orange, and tapping the screen provides more information.

3.2 Connections

The transmitter features terminal blocks for pressure connections (front +/-), Modbus communication, and power supply (24 VAC/VDC or 230 VAC). It also has three analog output terminals (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3) supporting 0-5/10 V or 0/4-20 mA current outputs.

4. Mounting

The transmitter must be mounted before wiring and powering. For wall installation:

  • Cut a 200 x 82 mm opening in the wall.
  • Drill 4 holes around the opening.
  • Insert the transmitter into the wall.
  • Fix with the 4 provided screws (Cruciform screw, Ø 3.5 x 12 mm).

A cut-out depth of 45 mm (1.77") is required. Use silicone sealant for isolation between the wall and the transmitter, ensuring VHP resistance if applicable.

5. Electrical Connections

Connections must be made by a qualified technician according to NF C 15-100 standard. The transmitter must not be energized during connection. A switch or circuit breaker upstream is compulsory.

Power Supply Terminal Block: Supports 24 VDC, 24 VAC, or 230 VAC. Terminals are labeled for Phase (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (Pe).

Output Terminals (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3): Support 0-5/10 V voltage output or 0/4-20 mA current output. Connections are shown for regulator display or PLC/BMS integration.

6. First Start-up
