NOTE: Before inserting or removing the HDD from HDD bay, please turn off the system ** , ** ,
1. Removing the Chassis Cover.

4. Assemble the CPU with the CPU clip and align the triangle mark on both CPU and the clip. Make sure both notches A and B on the CPU are carefully assembled with the CPU clip. CPUCPU CPU CPUCPU CPU

5. Assemble the heatsink and the sub assembly as above.

3. Remove the CPU dust cover from CPU socket. CPU

6. Carefully align the triangle mark on the CPU against the triangle mark on the CPU socket then place the CPU with heatsink into the CPU socket. CPUCPUCPU CPUCPUCPU
7. Use T30 Torx screwdriver for tighten the screws in the order of 1,2 -> 3,4 with a torque of 12lbf. 1,2 -> 3,4T3012 1,2 -> 3,4T3012
8. When removing CPU and heatsink, use T30 Trox screwdriver to loosen the screws in the order of 3,4 -> 1,2, then lift the CPU and the heatsink up. CPU4,3 -> 2,1 T30CPU CPU4,3 -> 2,1 T30CPU

Instruction for Riser Card Cage

Note:

For all riser card cages ( LRF, MRF, RRF) removing, please remove chassis support first.

Below pictures give you instructions to unscrew for all riser

When installing MRF, align two grooves on the card cage with the nut on the chassis to make sure the riser card goldfinger is aligned to the high density connector on the motherboard.

Before inserting the gold finger into the connector, make sure two grooves are located well into the nut on the chassis as shown below.

Slide Rail installation
1. Remove the chassis (inner) member. Pull the slide open, then press the trigger down as shown on the drawing, and pull the chassis (inner) member out.

3. Left Riser Card Cage (LRF)

When installing LRF, align three grooves on the card cage with the nut on the chassis to make sure the riser card goldfinger is aligned to the high density connector on the motherboard.
Before inserting the goldfinger to the connector, make sure three grooves are located well into the nut on the chassis as below figure shown.

2. Mount the chassis (inner) member into the chassis. You may opt for M4 or M5 pan head screw. The screw head of either M4 or M5 can not exceed 2.0 mm. Alternatively, you may mount the slide member to the chassis through standoffs. Likewise, the head of standoff can not exceed 2.0 mm. Each side of chassis needs to use 3 screws or standoffs for the slide attachment.
3. Attach the cabinet (outer) member to the rail. Insert the stag into the upper and lower square holes on EIA rail from the back of rail. Push the safety lock forward to secure the bracket. It is important to check if the safety lock is in the unlocked position before mounting the brackets.

4. Mount the chassis into the cabinet. Insert the chassis (inner) member into the cabinet member as shown on the drawing. It is important to check if the ball retainer is in fully open position before installing the chassis, otherwise it might cause catastrophic damage to the chassis if ball retainer is not in the fully open position while mounting the chassis. While you are pushing the chassis back to the cabinet, you need to release the slide from its locking position by pressing the trigger down.

12. If the equipment is not used for a long time, disconnect it from the power source to avoid damage by transient overvoltage.
13. Never pour any liquid into an opening. This may cause fire or electrical shock.
14. Never open the equipment. For safety reasons, the equipment should be opened only by qualified service personnel.
15. If one of the following situations arises, get the equipment checked by service personnel: - The power cord or plug is damaged. - Liquid has penetrated into the equipment. - The equipment has been exposed to moisture. - The equipment does not work well, or you cannot get it to work according to the user's manual. - The equipment has been dropped and damaged. - The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
16. CAUTION: The computer is provided with a batterypowered real-time clock circuit. There is a danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacture. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions. (1) CAUTION: Risk of Explosion if Battery is replaced by an Incorrect Type. Dispose of Used Batteries According to the Instructions. (1) ATTENTION: Risque d'explosion si la batterie est remplacée par un type incorrect. Mettre au rebus les batteries usagées selon les instructions.
17. THE COMPUTER IS PROVIDED WITH CD DRIVES COMPLY WITH APPROPRIATE SAFETY STANDARDS INCLUDING IEC 60825.

21. CAUTION: Any unverified component could cause unexpected damage. To ensure the correct installation, please always use the components (ex. screws) provided with the accessory box.

Safety Precautions-Electricity/-/-
Follow these simple precautions to protect yourself from harm and the products from damage. 1. To avoid electrical shock, always disconnect the power from your PC chassis before you work on it. 2. For the sake of the equipment, disconnect power before making any configuration changes. The sudden rush of power as
you connect a jumper or install a card may damage sensitive electronic components. 3. Electronic components are also vulnerable to damage by electrostatic discharge. An electrostatic charge can build up on
the human body, especially where the air is dry. At minimum, dissipate potential body charge before handling any electronic board by touching a conductive surface on the chassis. Only then remove circuit boards from their antistatic bags. Handle boards by the edges or mounting brackets only; do not touch components or connecting pins.
