Differential thermostat with Remote sensor
For switching output on at a low set point until a higher set point is reached

At power on-:
The control display shows ON/ OFF,-Set menu and standby/power icons.
When Set Menu Icon is pressed-: you can adjust parameters

- = Differential setting 0 – 20 degree range is allowed
- = Temperature sensor calibration 0 -5 degree range
- = Backlight timer settings in seconds 10 20 30 40 50 60
- = C or F temperature selection
- = 12 or 24hr clock selection.
- = Audible settings – on and off.
When Standby power button pressed-:
Display shows current time, day (1 – 7) current temperature of probe and Standby button.
Pressing the day, allows you to change the day with up/down and done.
Pressing the time, allows you to change the time with up/down and done.
The day and time display is a non controlling feature, simply for your information
Pressing the current probe temperature, allows you to change the differential midpoint temperature using the up/down and done icons.
Example-:
You require a storage temperature of 60 degrees C in a buffer tank with differential re heat point calling on a heat source at 40 degrees C (a 20 degree differential)
The midpoint temperature of this setting will be 50 degrees C.
Therefore for the above example you will need to enter the settings as follows
Adjust parameter 1, (Differential) to (20) degrees C in the Set Menu
Set midpoint temperature to (50) by manually adjusting the current probe temperature
Note If you require the reverse operation. Turning on output at a high temperature and off at a lower temperature you require the alternative HIQ 419R Control
