The following installation instructions cover three common types of brackets.

When the device is off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on. When the device is on, press and hold for 3 seconds to save data and power off.
Screensaver and Sleep Mode
Press the power button briefly to enter HUD screensaver mode. Press again to enter sleep mode and turn off the backlight. Press once more to wake the screen.

The reset button is located on the back. If the device crashes, briefly press the reset hole and reconnect the power to restart.
Screensaver and Sleep Mode
Go to Settings > Display > Screensaver or use Quick Settings. By default, the screensaver activates after one minute of inactivity. Sleep mode is off by default; to enable it, first disable the screensaver. When both are enabled, the screensaver takes priority.
DVR Function Description
Accessing the DVR Interface:
Double-tap the DVR preview on the home screen or tap the Camera icon to enter the DVR interface.

When a memory card is inserted, the device will automatically begin loop recording. To stop the recording process, remove the memory card.

- Swipe Up from the Bottom: Return to the Home Screen.
Swipe Up from the Bottom and Hold: Open the recent apps list.

Switch Audio Mode
Tap the [Audio Out] button on the home screen to access the control interface for speaker (SPK), AUX, FM, and Bluetooth (BT) audio outputs.
- Native Audio: Output through the built-in speaker.
AUX Audio: Audio is output via the AUX port. Please insert the audio cable into the vehicle’ s AUX socket. 
- .FMT Audio: By tuning both the device and the car radio to the same unused FM frequency, the car speakers can play audio from the device.
After entering FMT mode, you can manually tune the frequency.
- Tip: First, enter FM mode and select an empty channel with no sound to avoid interference with local radio stations.
- Then turn on the car’s radio and tune it to the same frequency to enable FM functionality.
- BT Audio: When connected via Bluetooth, all system sounds are output through car speakers

- Tap the “CarPlay” icon on the main screen of the device to enter the CarPlay connection interface.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your phone’ s Bluetooth to the device. CarPlay will connect automatically after a few moments.

- Tap “Mirrorlink” on the main screen to enter the Mirrorlink connection interface.
Ensure that the device’ s hotspot is turned on, then follow the on-screen instructions to connect your phone to the device’ s hotspot
- 0pen Control Center on your iPhone,Tap Screen Mirroring and choose the device, After a few seconds, your iPhone screen will be mirrored to the device.

- Download the “Carletter Cast” app by scanning the QR code or searching for it in the Play Store.
Tap the “Mirrorlink” icon on the main screen to enter the connection interface, then select Android Link. 
- Follow the instructions in the Carletter Cast app on your phone to complete the connection.
Rear Camera Wiring(Optional)
Once the wiring is completed as illustrated, DVR-equipped models allow you to switch between front and rear camera views by tapping the DVR display area on the main screen.

Unable to automatically connect to CarPlay or Android Auto
Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone. Once Bluetooth connects, the device will automatically switch to the CarPlay or Android Auto interface.
Why is GPS positioning inaccurate when using CarPlay and Android Auto navigation?
When using CarPlay or Android Auto, the navigation relies on the phone's GPS, not the device's built-in GPS. If your phone' s GPS signal is weak or interfered with, positioning may be inaccurate.
Wireless CarPlay frequently disconnects or fails to connect
Avoid connecting your phone to other Wi-Fi networks while using CarPlay to prevent disconnection.
Bluetooth audio issues-caller can't hear or noise occurs
Ensure the device' s microphone is not blocked by any objects. Obstructions can affect call quality or cause sound loss.

Delete the paired device from your phone, then re-scan and pair with the device bluetooth again. It should work normally after successful pairing.
Does the device support a reversing camera?
Yes. The device features an AV IN port on the side, which supports input from an external reversing camera(AHD 1080P only).
Does the product consume the car's battery power?
It depends on whether the vehicle is running. When the engine is started, power is supplied by the alternator via the cigarette lighter, not the battery - so the device will not drain battery power under normal conditions.
Why is there excessive noise when using FM Transmission?
Try switching to a different unused frequency (e.g., 87.5 MHz or 108.0 MHz) with less local interference for better clarity.
The bracket is unstable; suction cup adhesion weakens in high temperatures
Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before installation. Avoid air bubbles to maintain strong and stable adhesion, especially in high temperatures.
Unable to play media from TF card
Please use a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or above) with a minimum capacity of 8GB. The device supports SD cards up to 128GB.

Why does the DVR resume recording automatically after being manually paused?
To ensure important footage is not missed in the event of an accident, the DVR is designed to automatically resume recording one minute after manual pause. This feature helps prevent situations where users forget to restart recording.To completely stop recording, please remove the TF card.
