The LEGACY 10×42 Rangefinding Binoculars combine the clarity of a high-performance 10x binocular with an integrated Precision Core laser rangefinder. Compact, rugged, and waterproof, they’re designed for quick, accurate distance measurements in the field.
Powered by a 3V CR2 battery, the unit is lightweight and easy to operate. With multiple ranging
modes – including standard, rain, close-target priority , and distant-target priority
– you
can adapt to any condition or terrain. The laser is safe for human eyes and requires no target

3. DISPLAY SYMBOLS AND FUNCTIONS
1. Aiming Reticle – Center mark

2. Distance Units – M (meters), Y (yards), ° (degrees).
3. Distance Display – Appears top-center (5 digits), shows “—-.-” before a measurement.
4. Measuring Modes:
No symbol = Standard
= Rain Mode
= Distant Target Priority (Hunting)
= Close Target Priority (Golf)
5. The unit of Horizontal Distance or Angle – “M” (meter) ” ° ” (Degree) or “Y” (yards).
6. HD or Angle Display – 5 digits, before the distance measurement display: ” – – -.-”

Ranging Modes: The LEGACY 10×42 Rangefinding Binoculars feature four versatile ranging modes, displayed in the upper left corner of the field of view. These modes allow you to prioritise different types of targets depending on the activity or terrain:
1. Standard Mode (No Icon Displayed) · This is the default measurement mode. · Measures both distance and angle. · “HD” appears on the display, indicating that the Horizontal Distance is being shown. · Best suited for general use where no specific object prioritization is needed.
2. Golf Mode (Close-Target Priority) · Icon: · Prioritises the nearest target in the field of view. · Ideal for measuring flags or objects that may be partially obstructed by trees or bushes. · Helps eliminate false readings from background objects. · Optional vibration alert when the target is acquired: · Displays “HD” when showing the horizontal distance to the closest target.
3. Hunting Mode (Distant-Target Priority) · Icon: · Prioritises the farthest target, ignoring foreground obstacles like branches, leaves, or fencing. · Designed for hunting scenarios where the intended target may be partially obscured. · Optional vibration alert when the target is acquired: · Displays “HD” for horizontal distance when a valid target is measured.
4. Rain Mode · Icon: · Optimised for wet weather conditions and recommended for targets at distances greater than 30m. · Ensures reliable readings in rain, fog, or mist. · “HD” is displayed to indicate the horizontal distance is being calculated despite weather interference.

1. Focus: Adjust the center and diopter wheels until the image is sharp. 2. Single Measurement:
· Briefly press the trigger button. · Align reticle with the target and press again. · Distance and mode-specific info (e.g. angle, horizontal distance) will display.

3. Scan Mode: · Hold down the trigger button to continuously measure as you pan across different targets.
4. Mode Selection: · Press the “Mode” button to cycle through Standard, Rain, Near (Golf), and Far (Hunting) modes. · Your last-used mode is remembered on next start-up.
5. Switching Units: · Press and hold the “Mode” button for 3 seconds to toggle between meters and yards.
Notes on Performance
· Reflective, large, flat surfaces yield the best results. · Dust, fog, rain, and angled targets may reduce accuracy or max range.
5. IMPORTANT USAGE GUIDELINES
Do not disassemble the device – risk of damage and voided warranty. Use only a soft cloth or lens cleaning cloth for cleaning. Remove the battery if storing long-term. Avoid extreme heat or moisture; operating temperature: -40°C to +50°C. Do not press multiple buttons at once. Do not attempt internal repairs yourself.
