The VTM100 Battery Indicator is a precision monitoring instrument with a compact form factor and comprehensive functionality. It supports DC 7–100 V measurement and is compatible with ternary lithium, lead-acid, and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery chemistries.

Power-On Procedure
Connect the instrument’s positive and negative input leads to the corresponding battery terminals within the DC 7–100 V operating range.

Upon energization:

• The upper display indicates the measured battery voltage (e.g., “24.1”).
• The lower display defaults to showing the SOC percentage (e.g., “50%”).
• The SOC % indicator LED illuminates accordingly.

Toggle between SOC % and Temperature display
If the instrument is fitted with the optional temperature sensor, press the ▲/ ▼ keys to switch the lower display between SOC percentage and temperature. When SOC is displayed the “%” LED lights; when temperature is displayed the “℃” LED lights.

If FE (LiFePO₄) was selected, choose series count: F04 through F28.

Screen-Off (Sleep) Setting
Screen displays “-3-”.
Options: ON (enable) / OFF (disable).
Use ▲/ ▼to toggle. If ON is selected, the display will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity.。

Low Battery Capacity Alert — LBC
When the measured SOC falls below 20%, the LBC (low battery capacity) indicator LED lights. It extinguishes when SOC rises above or equals 20%.

Over-Temperature Alert — OTW
(Requires optional temperature sensor)

Entering system setting “-4-” lets you configure the over-temperature alert threshold. The display shows a default value (for example, “70”). Use ▲ / ▼ to adjust the threshold within the range 50–90 ℃. When the measured temperature exceeds the set threshold, the OTW (over-temperature) indicator LED lights.

Precautions / Safety Notes
