Installation
STEP 1
Prepare the door and check dimensions

STEP 1
Determine backset and adjust the latch
Hold the latch in front of the door hole, with the latch face flush against the door edge.
Is the slotted hole centered?
Slotted hole is centered.
No adjustment is required.
Proceed to next step.
Slotted hole is NOT centered.
Rotate and pull the latch is shown to extend latch.STEP 3
Install the latch

STEP 4
Install strike and test alignmentIMPORTANT: Make sure the hole in the door frame is drilled at a minimum of 1″ (25 mm) deep.

1. With the door closed, use a flat-head screwdriver to test if deadbolt works smoothly.
2. Check alignment between the latch and the strike, making sure when the deadbolt is extended, it is going into the bolt hole and not hitting the deadbolt strike or door frame.

STEP 5 A
Install exterior assembly
IMPORTANT: Do not insert the physical key until lock is completely installed.

1. Before installation, make sure the latch is fully retracted (in the unlocked position).
2. Route the cable below the latch.

STEP 58 B
Secure the mounting plate with the screws 1.
Do not overtighten screws.

STEP 6
Remove battery cover
IMPORTANT: Do not load batteries until lock is completely installed.Press the battery cover and pull the cover up.
STEP 7 A
Install interior assembly
STEP 7B

STEP 7 CAttach Interior Assembly to Mount-ing Plate and tighten 3 screws.
IMPORTANT: Test the thumbturn for smooth rotation. If thumbturn doesn’t rotate, repeat step 7B, making sure the thumbturn in vertical position.
STEP 8A
Handing of Door
IMPORTANT: Always run this step after installation. The motor will not operate before completing the step.

Perform a factory reset to detect the door orientation.
While the door is OPENED and UNLOCKED (latch retracted), load 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment.
NOTE:
For best results, use new, non-recharge-able Alkaline batteries only. Do not mix old and new batteries.
STEP 8 B
IMPORTANT: If the latch doesn’t extend within 10 seconds after doing this step 8B, please repeat step 7B and 8A to make sure the thumbturn is always vertical and latch is always retracted.Hold the reset button while loading the 4th battery.
Do not release the reset button
keep holding the reset button, until the latch bolt extend.
STEP 9
Test the lock
Test with the door open to avoid an accidental lockout.Lock
Press and hold lock button for 2 seconds.
Unlock
Enter default password 123456 on keypad to unlock the door.

User Settings

1. Factory Default Settings
   Default Password 123456 Auto Lock Off Close Sound On Maximum number of incorrect password attempts 10 The system locks up 30s after 10 incorrect attempts. Holiday Mode Off System default hibernation time is 10S
2. Reset Steps
   2.1 Firstly, press and hold the reset button by hand, then put the battery into the battery compartment
   2.2 After the battery is connected, do not release it and wait for the buzzer to sound twice..
   2.3 System Reset
3. Bluetooth Unbinding
   Hardware reset: Please follow the reset steps and reset in three steps. If Bluetooth is already bound: Open the Tuya app and enter the menu interface -> click Remove device -> Unbind Unbind and clear data -> Wait for the device to be powered on again and the green light will be on for a short time
4. Bluetooth Binding
   Log in to the Tuya app and wake it up to bind. A bound device cannot be bound again.
5. Changing the Administrator Password
   After the device is initialized, the default password is 123456. The user needs to connect to the app to create the first password, which is the administrator password. After the creation is completed, the default password 123456 becomes invalid. The administrator password can only be modified but not deleted.
6. Add app user
   Enter Tuya app->Member Management->Click Share Members. The members to be added need to confirm to join the family on the app.
7. Add a password
   Enter Tuya app->Member Management->Add Password->Enter 8-10 digit user password and click OK->Prompt that the addition is successful (after the device is initialized, the default password is 123456. The user needs to connect to the app to create the first password, which is the administrator password. After the creation, the default password 123456 becomes invalid. The administrator password can only be modified but not deleted)
8. Remove Password
   Enter Tuya app->Member Management->Click the password you want to delete->Click Confirm Deletion
9. Add fingerprint
   Enter Tuya app->Member Management->Add Fingerprint->Press your finger 8 times->Prompt that fingerprint entry is successful
10. Deleting fingerprints
    Enter Tuya app->Member Management->Click the fingerprint to be deleted->Click Confirm Deletion
11. Turn on automatic locking and set the automatic locking time
    Enter the Tuya app -> More Settings -> Turn on the automatic lock switch and enter the automatic lock time of 10-99 seconds
12. Set a temporary password
    Enter the Tuya app -> click Temporary Password -> select the type of temporary password you want to set
13. Setting the sound
    Enter the Tuya app->Door lock volume->Set the volume (high, medium, low)
14. Battery low voltage warning
    When the battery voltage is lower than 4.8V, the buzzer will sound 5 times and the red indicator light will flash 5 times each time the lock is unlocked or locked.
15. Battery low voltage lockout
    When the battery voltage is lower than 4.2V, the system unlocking function is locked. When unlocking, the buzzer will sound 10 times continuously and the LED light will flash 10 times continuously.
