FAQS

Does this work with Axiim hub?

The Axiim Link will work to operate with the older HD Wireless WiSA speakers, but it will not firmware update the speakers.

Do i have to use this in wireless mode or can it be just used as a regular center channel

There are no wire ports. It’s part of a 7.2 wireless surround system from klipsch. It’s an amazing system but you’ll need at least 2 tower speakers and a sub in addition to the center for it to be worth it.

Can i setup this klipsch rp-440wc wireless center channel speaker with a pair of klipsch r-26pf 260w and subwoofer klipsch r-10swi 10?

Is the rp440wc necessary for dialog if I have a pair of rp-440wfs?

if you need crisper voice , I would say definitely add 440wc. from Amazon (Klipsch Authorized) you may find it for $300 ..and it is worth adding

Does it work with r-28pf towers speakers?

No, the RP-440WC is part of the HD Wireless home theater system. This speaker along with other speakers within that system connect to an RP-HUB-1 to form the system. The R-28PF are a stereo powered speaker system only.

Does this item work with denon avr 4300 heos receiver ? would the hub or anything else be needed ?

ONLY WORKS WITH THE HUB.. NO RECEIVE

Will this work with the newer axiim quhd media center?

Yes,this work with the newer axiim quhd media center

So this still requires additional components to work.. that hub thing? It doesn’t come with it?

There are packages on Amazon that have a hub included for free. it might not say free but if speakers are selling for $300 a piece and the hub is $300 but the package is $600 for two speakers and a hub then you’re getting one of those items free. Just search “klipsch hd wireless”

Is this center speaker wall mountable?

It Must be, Mine is over the TV cabinet

Can you use this to complement wired L & R tower speakers hooked to a receiver, but where you would like to try to avoid a wired center

No, the RP-440WC is part of the HD Wireless home theater system. This speaker along with other speakers within that system connect to an RP-HUB-1 to form the closed home theater system.

What does the hd mean in context of hd wireless control center? (ps: i know hd stands for “hi def”, so i’m asking if ordinary wi-fi system will work)

All of the Klipsch HD wireless systems require the control hub, the hub creates its own Wi-Fi network that all the speakers runoff of. Without the control hub none of the speakers will work

Can I use this with regular wired speakers?

There are no wire jacks on the back of the speaker… so it would be a bit difficult.

Is a sound bar better than a center speaker?

At the end of the day, it would be a mistake to use a soundbar as a centre channel speaker. If you’re looking to invest in a home audio system, choose either a soundbar (and subwoofer) or a set of surround sound speakers. The former is more affordable, while the latter typically produces better sound quality

Does a Centre speaker make a difference?

A center channel speaker is a critical component of a home theater system set-up as it delivers about 70% of the dialogue from movies and television. Without one, you’re missing out on vital parts of what you’re watching

Can I use any speaker as a center speaker?

You can use any speaker (except a subwoofer) for your center channel, but ideally, you’d use a speaker that has a horizontal, rather than vertical, or square, cabinet design, such as the example shown below from Aperion Audio.
