CAMERA SETUP

  1. Loosen the latch to open the camera, then fill the tray with 8 new AA batteries. Do not mix battery types or use rechargeable ones
  2. Insert the KLARVUE SD card provided in the package
  3. Toggle the power button to “ON”
  4. Download the “KLARVUE” app on App Store or Google Play
  5. Once downloaded, create an account and follow the in APP instructions to connect your Wi – Fi camera to the APP
  6. Once connected, you can a) look at the live view for 6 mounting, b) change settings, c) check battery and memory status, d) preview/ download/ delete your photos

  • Press!MENU! to delete or protect a file.

CAMERA SETTINGS

WiFi

  • Bluetooth: Turn on for APP connection; Turn off for battery saving
  • WIFI SSID: Set the Wi-Fi name to appear on your phone’s Wi-Fi search list. WIFI Password: Set the Wi – Fi password
  • WIFI Delay Off: Delay the Wi -Fi from turning off too soon so that you have more time for APP connection

System

  • Date/Time: Set the date and time of the camera
  • Date Stamp: Choose whether to include a date stamp at the bottom of every image. Time Format: Choose between the 12-hour or 24-hour time format
  • Format SD Card: Erase all data in the SD card
  • Loop Recording: New photo/video will automatically replace the oldest file in the SD card, preventing the camera from stopping recording when the SD card is full
  • Password: Set a 4 – digit password to prevent others from sabotaging your camera. Language: Choose the system language
  • Version: Display the camera’s firmware version and MCU version
  • Factory Reset: Restore all settings to the original state

General

  1. To maximize battery life, limit the PIR interval to 10 seconds or longer. Use lithium batteries during winter
  2. Before replacing the batteries or SD card, toggle the camera to “OFF” mode
  3. When using an external power supply, make sure that the voltage is 6v
  4. DO keep the lenses and sensors free of dust and scratches
  5. DO NOT submerge the camera in water
  6. Indicator Color:
  • Green: Firmware updating
  • Red: The camera is turned on and ready for operation
  • Blue: Low battery
  1. Avoid mounting the camera on unstable trees or posts
  2. Avoid facing the camera toward the sun
  3. Mount the camera 3-5 feet above ground
  4. Clear any brush and tree limbs in the field of view

Camera Wont Connect to APP

 

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for both your camera and your phone

 

 

Camera False Triggers too Often

 

Clear tree branches, brush, and weeds from field of view

Lower the “PlR sensitivity”

 

 

 

Night Photos too Blurry

 

Adjust” Night Mode” to a different setting

If your camera is aiming at an open field, relocate it to a spot that has more objects in the field of view

 

 

Pictures look Condensated/Foggy

 

Bring your camera back inside and place it in a dry place, then wait until the condensation dissipates

 

 

The Camera Wont Turn On

 

Check the battery status, replace battery if necessary

 

 

The Camera Wont Record New Image/Video

 

Check the SD card memory status. Turn on “Loop Recording” to delete the oldest file every time, or replace the SD card completely
