INSTALLING THE SMARTSET APP 3.0

OVERVIEW
The SmartSet App 3.0 offers a graphical alternative to onboard programming your Kinesis Gaming keyboard.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Unlike the earlier versions of the SmartSet App, ? version 3.0 is run directly from your PC (with the Drive connected) and does not get installed on the v‐Drive itself.
- Unlike the earlier versions of the SmartSet App, version 3.0
- Non‐US users: The SmartSet App requires that your computer is running the US keyboard driver.
- You can check for newer versions of the App using the “Check for updates” button
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Download the desired Windows or macOS version of the SmartSet App 3.0
- Locate the downloaded App on your PC (wherever downloads are saved), unzip if necessary, and move the App to whichever folder location on your PC you find most convenient.
- To run the App, simply connect the v‐Drive to your PC using the appropriate onboard shortcut and then launch the App. If you forget to connect the v‐rive, the App will prompt you to do so.
INSTALLATION TROUBLESHOOTING
If macOS prevents you from opening the App, navigate to “System Preferences” and select the “Security & Privacy”
menu. Under the “General” tab select “Open Anyway” to launch the App.
