- The screen uses a thin rust film transistor that gives you the highest contrast ratio of any Kindle, so text and images stand out on the screen. A larger seven-inch screen is a novelty for the Kindle Paperwhite and yet it is also the thinnest Paperwhite so far with a battery life of up to three months.
- Kindle Paperwhite is water resistant, with 16GB of storage for thousands of books and is available in Raspberry, Jade Green and Charcoal. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, which comes with 32GB of storage, optional wireless charging and auto-adjusting front light, is available in Raspberry Metallic, Jade Green Metallic and Charcoal.
