Front panel

1-1 Power & input switch: Press to turn on or select another input, press and hold to turn off.

1-2 SE input LED: It will on when you select to SE input. 1-3 BAL input LED: II will on when you select to BAL input.
1-4 Volume knob: Turn clockwise to turn up the volume, turn counterclockwise to turn down the volume.

Rear panel

2-1 Right channel 6.35mm TRS balanced input

2-3 Left channel single-ended RCA input

2-4 Right channel single-ended RCA input
2-5 R+ speaker output: positive output of R speaker.

2-6 R- speaker output: negative output of R speaker.

Connection

The PA3s have two inputs that can be switched by pressing the button on the front panel.

Attention: The connection between PA3s and the speaker must be correct. L + to the red jack ( + in) of the left speaker, L- to the blackjack (- in) of the left speaker. The connection to the right channel is the same. Please ensure that step is correct before proceeding to the next step. PA3s is an amplifiers with BTL output, the L- and R- jack are separate, and they are not connected to the ground or at the same point. So if you make a mistake at this step, maybe ii will cause serious damage to PA3s. Warranty is void when the user’s error connection led to the damage.

Troubleshooting

Precautions for daily use

Any connections must refer to this user manual.
Ensure the output jack, including speaker L+, L-, R+,R- does not short circuit or connect to the ground.
Whether you need to connect or disconnect a cable, please turn off PA3 first.
To cut the power of AC adapter, please turn off PA3 first, then pull out the power cable or cut the power of the adapter.
You must not keep the amplifier in a hot, humid environment or drop ii.
Opening the case instantly voids the warranty!
In the case where the liquid is spilled into the machine, turn off the power immediately and check the device is inspected by a professional before further use.
Use TOPPING AC adapter only.
Maintain the volume so no distortion will have a much better listening experience.
Indoor use only.

About the weak current feeling on the aluminum case

In some very special cases, some people could feel a very weak current on the aluminum case. The reason for this phenomenon is due to the electromagnetic interference suppression component in AC adapter, which built a necessary circuit between the primary and secondary. This weak current is controlled strictly within the limits of security standards required of, and the production of this product in the factory has passed strict quality inspection, so you can feel free to use it.

Can I put something on top of my amplifier?
It isn’t recommended to place something on top of your amplifier while using as it will not able to radiate any heat generated by it.
What does recapping an amplifier mean?
Recapping means replacing electrolytic caps only, mainly the big filter caps which are used in power supply.
Can you stack amps?
Yes, you can stack the amps but shouldn’t have them close to the wall.

How much space do you need around an amp?
A minimum of 5 inches is required on the top for ventilation and 2 inches on either side to reduce the risk of overheating the amplifier.
Do more powerful amplifiers sound better?
While to some extent accurate, power ratings do not always show a clear connection between power and sound quality. Yes, it is true that speakers play louder and clearer at higher power levels (watts). However, slight variations in power don’t produce much of an audible difference.
How often should you recap an amplifier?
The amp should probably be left alone if it is between 10 and 20 years old. Even with electronics that last 30 years, you might need to replace them all before noticing a noticeable change.

How do I get more watts?
To boost wattage in order to have higher amps, you must align your 12 V batteries plus on plus and minus on minus.
How many watts increase dB?
You only need to boost power by doubling to achieve an increase of +3 dB. (watts). Therefore, if you need 105 dB SPL but are only obtaining 102 dB SPL from 100 watts, you will need 200 watts of power.
