Scan the QR code of the electric fence box
Please select the ‘+’ next to ‘SmartEnergi-ser’. The QR code scanner will open directly. The QR code is located on the side of the appliance cover. The device can only be assigned to one account.

2x connection cable 3m for fence & earth
The connection cables are connected to the appliance at the factory and must be routed to the outside through the openings provided (4.1) in the side panel during commissioning.
Earthing
The underground cable is connected to one of the 6 ground rods using an M8 metal eyelet and a connecting screw (4.1). All 6 earth rods must be connected to each other (4.2) and driven into the ground at a distance of approx. 1 metre from each other.
Fence connection
The fence connection cable is connected to the supplied stainless steel clamping plate (4.1) using an M8 metal eyelet and connected to the conductor material.

The padlock can be electrified if required.
To do this, you must connect the pre-assembled connection cable inside (5.1) to the fence outlet of the device (5.2) and secure it with the red knurled nut. Now proceed as follows:

1. Switch the 1-0-II switch of the smart electric fence energiser to II, for example
2. Now switch your smart electric fence energiser OFF via the app.
3. Now close the door of the solar station.
   Lock it with the lock and insulated key supplied.
4. Now switch your smart electric fence energiser ON via the app.
   The lock is now electrified.

ATTENTION: ALWAYS switch your smart electric fence energizer OFF via the app before opening the lock!
To ensure that the vegetation does not impair the performance of the solar module, the plastic strip should be mounted at the bot-tom of the plastic pallet in the 3 holes provided using the 3 wood screws supplied.

Please press the earth rod into the ground directly next to the station at a distance of at least 50cm from the main earth, see (4.2)

Please position the station so that the solar surface of the module faces south. Make sure that no grass, dirt or trees and bushes obstruct the sunlight.

Battery care & winter storage

If you want to take your station out of operation for a longer period (e.g. winter), it is still important to keep the battery charged.
Option 1 | by means of solar radiation
Switch off the electric fence energiser and place the entire Solar Station in a sunny place and point the module towards the sun.
Option 2 | using a charger (not included in the scope of delivery!)
Disconnect the 12 V battery from the solar electric fence energiser and only reconnect it for commissioning after storage.

1. connect the 230 volt charger eg. illustration with the red (+) and black (-) terminals on the 12 V battery.
2. now plug the charger into the socket and charge as follows:
   a) … at least 1 day before storage
   b)… at least every 3 months during a break in operation
   c)… at least 1 day before commissioning
   d) Storage temperature: frost-free

ATTENTION:
The 230 V charger incl. trickle charge function can also remain permanently connected to the battery during storage!
