kaptia Memory Readers Clemsa Mutan Code
Introduction
Memory readers are modules that allow reading and, in some cases, writing data in the memories of certain receivers.
Its purpose is to allow unused commands to be activated in installations that no longer allow new command registrations.
This module is compatible with the Kaptia Klever system.
Operation
- To use a module, it must be connected to the micro USB cable of the Kaptia Klever duplicator.
- At the opposite end, each module has a specific connector for each type of memory.
- The application will guide you through all the steps to perform the reading/writing process.
As a general rule, the steps to follow are the following
- Remove power from the receiver
- Remove the memory card from the receiver
- Connect the reading module to the Klever device
- Connect the memory card to the reading module
- Proceed to the read/write operation using the Klever application
- When finished, disconnect the memory card from the reading module
- Place the memory card back in the receiver
- Power the receiver again
Important
It is recommended to remove power to the receiver whenever it is to tampered with, to prevent the data on the memory card from being corrupted.
Light indicators
Memory readers generally have 2 green LEDs. One of them indicates that the module has received power from the Kaptia Klever duplicator. The other LED will flash every time there is communication between both devices (module and duplicator).
