V. Installation and adjustment
1. Installation
Warning: Before using the mobile air conditioning, keep it upright for at least two hours. Ensure the unit is in an upright position and placed on a flat surface during movement. Do not install or use in bathrooms or other humid environments.
1.1 Install the heat pipe assembly
A diagram illustrates the installation of the heat pipe assembly.
- Remove the outer connector assembly and the exhaust pipe assembly, and take off the plastic bags.
- Insert the heat pipe assembly (exhaust joint end) into the back panel vent slot (push to the left) to complete the assembly.
1.2 Installation of window sealing plate components
Diagrams show window sealing plate assembly installation.
- Half open the window and mount the window sealing plate assembly to the window. Components can be placed horizontally or vertically.
- Extend the components of the window sealing plate assembly, adjust their opening distance to contact the window frame, and secure them.
Notes for window sealing plate assembly:
- The flat end of the exhaust pipe joints must snap into place.
- The pipe should not be distorted or turned more than 45°. Keep the exhaust pipe ventilation unblocked.
1.3 Install the unit
Diagrams show unit placement and exhaust pipe connection.
- Move the machine with the installed heat pipe and fittings in front of the window. Ensure a minimum distance of 50 cm between the unit, walls, or other objects.
- Elongate the exhaust pipe and snap the flat end of its joints into the hole of the window sealing plate assembly.
Notes:
- The flat end of the exhaust pipe joints must snap into place.
- The pipe cannot be distorted or turned more than 45°. Keep the ventilation of the exhaust pipe unblocked.
VI. Drainage Instructions
1. Manual drainage:
When the machine stops due to a full water pan:
- Turn off the machine power and unplug the power plug. Move the machine carefully to avoid spilling water.
- Place a water container below the side water outlet at the back of the unit.
- Unscrew the rotary knob and unplug the rubber stopper. Water will flow into the container.
Notes:
- Keep the rotary knob and rubber stopper properly.
- The body can be tilted slightly backward during drainage.
- If the water container cannot hold all the water, re-insert the rubber stopper promptly to prevent spillage onto the floor or carpet.
After drainage:
- Re-insert the rubber stopper and tighten the rotary knob.
Note: Restart the machine only after the rubber stopper and rotary knob are installed correctly to prevent condensate water from flowing onto the floor or carpet.
Diagrams show the rubber stopper and exhaust water tube.
2. Continuous drainage (for cooling and dehumidification modes):
Diagrams show the continuous drainage setup.
- Unscrew the rotary knob and unplug the rubber stopper.
- Insert the drainage pipe into the water outlet.
- Connect the drainage pipe to a bucket or suitable drainage area.
VII. Maintenance
Cleaning: Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the machine and unplug the power plug.
1. Clean the surface
Clean the machine surface with a wet soft cloth. Do not use chemicals like benzene, alcohol, or gasoline, as they can damage the surface or the entire machine.
2. Clean the filter screen
If the filter screen is clogged with dust, reducing effectiveness, clean it every two weeks.
3. Clean the upper filter screen frame
- Unscrew the screw fixing the EVA filter net and back shell, and remove the EVA filter net.
- Wash the EVA filter screen in warm water with neutral detergent (approx. 40°C / 104°F) and dry it in the shade after rinsing.
Postseason Storage:
- Unscrew the rotary knob, unplug the rubber stopper, and drain the water from the water pan into other containers or by tilting the body.
- Turn on the machine, set it to low-wind ventilation mode, and maintain this state until the drainage pipe is dry to prevent mildew inside the body.
- Turn off the machine, unplug the power plug, wrap the power cord, and re-install the rubber stopper and rotary knob.
- Remove and properly store the exhaust pipe.
- Cover the air conditioner with a plastic bag and store it in a dry place, out of reach of children. Take dust control measures.
- Remove batteries from the remote control and store them properly.
Note: Ensure the unit is placed in a dry place and all components are kept properly.
VIII. Troubleshooting
Do not repair or disassemble the air conditioning yourself. Unqualified repair may void the warranty and cause damage to users or their properties.
Problems | Reasons | Solutions |
---|---|---|
The air conditioning does not work. | There is no electricity. | Turn it on after connecting it to a socket with electricity. |
The overflow indicator displays "FL". | Discharge the water inside. | |
In cooling mode, the room temperature is lower than the set temperature; in heating mode, the room temperature is higher than the set temperature. | Recommend to use the machine in the temperature of 7-35 °C (44-95 °F). | |
In dehumidification mode, the ambient temperature is low. | Change the set temperature. | |
The cooling or heating effect is not good | There is direct sunlight. | The machine is placed in a room with an ambient temperature of greater than 17 °C (62 °F). |
Doors or windows are open; there are a lot of people; or in cooling mode, there are other sources of heat. | Pull the Curtain. Close doors and windows, and add new air conditioning. | |
The filter screen is dirty. | Clean or replace the filter screen. | |
Big Noise | The air inlet or outlet is blocked. | Clear obstructions. |
compressor does not work. | The air conditioning is not placed on a flat surface. | Put the air conditioning on a flat and hard place (to reduce noise). |
The remote control does not work. | Overheat protection starts. | Wait for 3 minutes until the temperature is lowered, and then restart the machine. |
The distance between the machine and the remote control is too far. | Let the remote control get close to the air conditioning, and make sure that the remote control directly faces to the direction of the remote control receiver. | |
The remote control is not aligned with the direction of the remote control receiver. | Replace batteries. | |
Batteries are dead. | Check the room temperature sensor and related circuitry. | |
Displays 'E1'. | The room temperature sensor is abnormal. | Check the pipe temperature sensor and related circuitry. |
Displays 'E2' | The pipe temperature sensor is abnormal. |
