Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before you use this device. Do not make any changes or create settings that are not described in this manual. If physical injury, loss of data, or damage is caused by failure to follow instructions, the warranty does not apply.
Setup

• To reduce the risk of fire and/ or electric shock, do not expose the device to rain or moisture. Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on this device.
• Do not place this device on soft surfaces such as tablecloths or carpets, otherwise the device could be a fire hazard.
• To prevent overheating, do not block or clog the ventilation openings.
• Never place this device in a confined space. Always leave enough space around this device for ventilation.
• When this device is running for a long period of time, the surfacemay become hot. If this occurs, shut it down immediately and unplug the charger. Resume operation after the device has cooled down.
• Avoid overexposing this device to direct sunlight, heat, large temperature fluctuations, and moisture. Avoid extreme temperatures. The suitable operation and storage temperature for this device and its accessories is 41 F to 95 F / 5 C to 35 C.
• Always handle this device with care. Avoid touching the lens.
• Do not allow children to handle the device without supervision.
• No not place heavy or sharp objects on this device.
• To avoid electric shock, do not disassemble the device.
• Only use attachments or accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Avoid extreme vibrations as they may damage the internal components.
• Do not place this device in areas susceptible to excessive dust and dirt or near any appliance generating a strong magnetic field.
• When you’re not using your projector, make sure to cover it with a dust cover or put it in the box, this will prevents dust from getting inside the optical path and degrading image quality.

Power Supply

• Use only the provided power adapter.
• Power off the device before removing the power supply from the socket.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from this device.
• Unplug this device if there are lightning storms or when unused for a long period of time.
• Where the power plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
• Before you make or change any connections, ensure that all devices are disconnected from the power outlet.
• Never touch the power cable or the power connector with wet hands.

Hearing Safety

• To prevent hearing damage, do not listen for extended periods at high volume. Set the volume to a safe level.

Cleaning

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use liquid, gaseous, or easily flammable cleansers to clean.
• Do not use any liquid cleaning agents to clean the lens to avoid damaging the coating film on the lens.
• Wipe the surfaces gently. Be careful that you do not scratch the surface.
• Use lens cleaning paper to clean the lens.

Repairs

• Do not make any repairs to this device yourself. Contact us to get advice. We’ll help you fix your issue or set up a repair.
• Improper maintenance can result in injuries to persons or damage to this device.

Caution

• Possibly hazardous optical radiation emitted from this device.
• Do not stare directly at the operating beam. The b right light may damage your eyes.

Connect to WiFi

This projector can be connected to the Internet via a wireless (WiFi) connection.

1.  Press to access the home menu, select [SETTING]> [SETTINGS] and press OK.
2. Select [Network] and press OK.
3. Turn on WiFi, Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join. Before you can join the network, you might be asked to enter the network’s password.
4. After you join the network, you’ll see a checkmark next to the network and the connected Wi-Fi icon in the upper corner of your home menu.

 

Pair Your Projector with Bluetooth Accessories

You can use this projector as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.

1. Press O to access the home menu, select [SETTING] >[SETTINGS]> [Bluetooth] and press OK.
2. Turn on Bluetooth and tap your accessory name when it appears on the screen. Stay on this screen until you’ve completed the steps to pair your accessory.
3. Place your accessory in discovery mode and wait for it to appear on your device. If you can’t see it or aren’t sure how to make it discoverable, check the instructions that came with your accessory or contact the manufacturer.
4. after you’ve paired your accessory, you can use it with your device.

Screen Mirroring – For 10S devices

You can wirelessly cast the screen of your smartphone or tablet onto the projection surface.
For 10S devices to use screen mirroring:

1. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as projector.
2. Press 6 access the home menu, select [APPS] > [MY APPS] > [AirScreen] and press OK.
   Certain content cannot be cast on JOMEE Projector due to copyright restrictions. In this case, you can stream the content via the same app installed on your projector.
3. Open the Air Screen APP
4. For iPhones launch the Screen Mirroring function. For MACs click the AirPlay button at the top-right corner of your desktop.
5. Select AS-SmartProjector in the menu and you’re ready to project.

Screen Mirroring – For Android devices

You can wirelessly cast the screen of your smartphone or tablet onto the projection surface.
For Android devices to use Screen Cast:

1. Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as projector.
2. Press to access the home menu, select [APPS] > [MY APPS] > [Miracast] and press OK.
   Certain content cannot be cast on JOMEE Projector due to copyright restrictions. In this case, you can stream the content via the same opp installed on your projector.
3. Open the Miracast APP.
4. For Android devices Open the Screen Cast, Multi-screen, Cast Screen or Wireless Display option via the pull-down menu, System Settings, or WLAN   settings on your device.
5. Select [Smart Projector] to connect.

Play from HDMI Playback Devices

JOMEE Projectors can be connected to various HDMI playback devices such as a TV stick, TV box, gaming consoles, or other devices.
To play content from HDMI playback devices:

1. Connect JOMEE Projector to an HDMI playback device with an HDMI cable.
2. Press O to access the home menu, select [SETTING] > [INPUT SOURCE] and press OK.
3. Select [HDMI] and press OK. It will automatically start HDMI playback once connected to an HDMI playback device for the first time.
   Note: Press the ~ to exit.

Play from a USB Storage Device

With JOMEE Projector, you can enjoy music, video, and pictures that are stored on a USB 2.0 storage device.

1. Connect JOMEE Projector to a USB 2.0 playback device with an USB 2.0 cable.
2. Press O to access the home menu, select [SETTING] > [INPUT SOURCE] and press OK.
3. Select [Media] and press OK. It will automatically start USB playback once connected to an USB playback device for the first time. Select a file and play it.
   Note: 
   1. Press the ARROW to exit.
      Create a presentation in PowerPoint: select [Apps] > [MY APPS] > [WPS Office] and press OK.

Install Apps

Once connected to a wireless network, you can access online services, enjoy movies, music and pictures, and browse online. Aside from the pre-installed apps, you can also install additional apps either from the App Store.

1. Press L.J to access the home menu, select [Apps] > [App Store] and press OK.
2. Tap the Search option at the upper conner of the screen and type the name of an app into the search text field, or Choose the app you want from the Home Page.
3. For free apps, tap the Get Free to download button.
4. Wait for the app to install. When complete, an Open and Uninstall button appears next to the app on the App Store page, and an app icon is placed on MY APPS.

Delete Apps

1. Press 6 to access the home menu, select [SETTING] > [SETTINGS] > [APPs] and press OK.
2. Choose the opp that you want to delete and press OK.
3. Select Uninstall and press OK

Turn On the Auto Keystone Correction

JOMEE Projector supports both automatic (vertical 45 ) and manual (horizontal 45 ) keystone correction.

1. Press to access the home menu, select [SETTING] > [SETTINGS] and press OK.
2. Select [Projection] and press OK.
3. Select Auto Trapezoid and press ok to turn on auto keystone correction (vertical 45 only).
   Note: 
   • The image size cannot be resized in this mode.
   • When adjusting the horizontal keystoning, go to SETTINGS > Projection to turn off Auto Trapezoid and adjust manually.

Manual Keystone Correction

• You can use the projector’s H/V Keystone setting to correct the shape of an image that is unevenly rectangular on the sides.
• Press O to access the home menu, select [Setting] >[Settings]> [Projection] and press OK.
• Select Horizontal Trapezoid Correction or VerticalTrapezoid Correction and press OK.
• Use the remote control to adjust the image shape as necessary. Press the ~ when finished.
  Note: Please turn off the Auto Trapezoid before using this function.

Adjust the Image Size

You can Adjust the Image Size Projected by Projector With Zoom.

1. Press O to access the home menu, select [Setting] >[Settings]> [Projection], and press OK.
2. Select [Zoom Adjust] and press OK.
3. Press and hold the arrow buttons on the remote control to resize the image.
4. Press the ~ when finished.
   Note: Please turn off the Auto Trapezoid before using this function.

Adjust the Image Aspect Ratios

You can select the following image aspect ratios: 76:9 or 4:3.

1. Press O to access the home menu, select [Setting] >[Settings]> [Projection] and press OK.
2. Select [Display Scale] and press OK.
3. Press the arrow buttons on the remote control to select the image aspect ratios.
4. Press the ~ when finished.
   Note: Please turn off the Auto Trapezoid before using this function.

FAQs

The remote control doesn’t work?

Make sure the battery is already installed in the remote control. Make sure you are pointing the remote at the TV.
Blurred image?

Rotate the focus adjusting knob.

How do I recover/reset the projector?

to SETTI NG>SETTI NGS>Factory data reset.

How do I play videos when no Wi-Fi is available?

• Download the videos to a USB drive.
• Plug the USB drive into Apollo to play.
