Warning: DANGER-RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT START THE GENERAT OR UNTIL THE CORD IS CONNECTED TO THIS INLET AND THE GENERATOR
Failure to comply with this instruction could result in an electrical failure, fire and electrocution.
IMPORTANT: Installation of this power inlet box and related wiring must be done by a qualified electrician in compliance with all applicable electrical codes, ANY TERMINAL MAY BE ENERGIZED WHEN THE CORD IS CONNECTED. SHUT DOWN THE GENERATOR FOR TO DISCONNECTING THE CORD FROM THIS INLET AND THE GENERATOR FOR POWER INLET ONLY. NOT FOR USE AS AN OUTLET.NOT FOR INDOOR USE.When used to power a structure, this inlet must be used in conjunction with a transfer switch to comply with the NEC and to avoid serious safety risks.

  1. To be installed and/or used in accordance with appropriate electrical codes and regulations.
  2. Installation of this power outlet box and related wiring must be done by aqualified electrician incompliance with all applicable electrical codes.
  3. Use this product with copper wire.
  4. Do not connect any devices which may exceed the maximum ratings.
  5. Children are not allowed to use the product.

Installation instructions

  1. Read Important Safety Information below before beginning installation.
  2. Select the knockouts to be used. Remove the inner 1/2″ knockout by inserting a screwdriver in the slot and carefully punching the knockout loose. Remove slug. If 3/4″ knockout is required, also remove the outer ring with pliers after removing the 1/2″ knockout. Smooth any rough edges with a file or sandpaper, if necessary.
  3. Remove the protection cover by removing the screw holding the cover in place
  4. Place the box in the mounting area and use the screws, inserted into the screw holes on the back of the box, to secure the box in the mounting position.
  5. Follow the wiring diagram below
  6. Reassemble the protection

Wiring

Wire Gauge: 6AWG~ 8AWG.Strip the wire insulation 3/5″(15mm,FIG1) (do not tin conductors) and connect the wires in the power outlet box as follows. Making sure there is no wire insulation in any terminal another outlet terminal screws are tightened to 35 inch-pounds torque using Electric flat Screwdriver.
