Overview

The IYILO App helps you set up and manage your EV charger, including device pairing, Wi‑Fi setup, charging modes, electricity rate configuration, and viewing/exporting charging data.

Quick Setup & Use

  1. Confirm your EV charger is installed and operating properly, and register with a valid email address and phone number.
  2. Ensure your mobile device has a stable internet connection. Do not operate the App while driving.
  3. Open the IYILO App, then Sign Up with a valid email and password (or Log In).
  4. Add a new device: tap “+” (or “Add New Device”). Keep your phone within 32 ft of the EV charger and make sure the charger stays powered on.
  5. After Bluetooth pairing succeeds, select your Wi‑Fi network and enter the Wi‑Fi password.
  6. On the charger page, you can view status such as real-time voltage/power/current, accumulated energy (kWh), estimated electricity cost, and charging duration.
  7. To switch between multiple chargers: tap the switch icon (top-right) and select the desired charger.

Log In/ Sign Up
Please Sign Up IYILO APP with your validate Email account and Password. Or Log In if you have one.IYILO-App-fig- (1)

Add new device
Once you have signed in to your account, please click the “+” in the middle of the page or click the “Add New Device” button directly to add your EV charger.IYILO-App-fig- (3)

Note

  1. Please place your phone within 32 ft of the EV charger for optimal connection.
  2. Please make sure that the IYILO EV Charger stays powered on while adding a new device

After the Bluetooth pairing is successful, please select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi passwordIYILO-App-fig- (4)Note
IYILO EV Charger supports 2.4GHz only, please connect to the proper Wi-Fi Signal.

  1. Click the avatar icon in the top-left corner.

Note
NTC sensors monitor and display real-time temperatures. Once the temperature exceeds 185°F, the EV charger will automatically reduce the current accordingly until it returns to a safe temperature range.

Switch Device
If you have multiple chargers under your account, you can switch between them by following these steps to view and manage each device.IYILO-App-fig- (7)Step 1. Tap the switch icon① in the top-right corner to open the charger selection screen.
Step 2. On the charger selection screen, select your desired unit to switch devices and access its home screen.

Remove Charger
If you no longer use a charger, follow these instructions to remove the device.IYILO-App-fig- (8)

Step 1. Once on the device page, tap the “Remove”① button in the top-right corner.
Step 2. Select the charger you want to remove②, then tap the “Remove”③ button below. Please note: Offline devices cannot be removed. Ensure the charger is online before attempting to delete it.

NEMA Plug Temperature Monitoring
In App version 1.2.0, we have added support for viewing historical NTC temperature data for any past day. You can tap on either the wall plug or the charging connector to display the 24-hour temperature log for that selected day.IYILO-App-fig- (9)Additionally, we have introduced system-level alerts in the new version of the app. (Image 3)

APP Function
Look up and export charging data
The IYILO App records your daily charging sessions and syncs them to the cloud. You can also export your charging records as an Excel file and share them with others. IYILO-App-fig- (10)

Multi-account management
The IYILO app allows the account owner to create sub-accounts for others. To do this, simply follow the steps outlined below:IYILO-App-fig- (11)

  1. Click “Account Info”
  2. Click“My Account”
  3. Click “Invite”
  4. Add your “Home Name” and click “Yes”
  5. Enter the invitee’s email address.
  6. Select the Invitation Role to “Family Member” or “Visitor”
  7. Click “Done”

After completing the above steps, an invitation email will be sent to the invited member’s email address. Ask the user to activate the sub-account by clicking the activation button in the email.
Charging Mode
Plug & Charge:
The IYILO Charger comes with a preset Plug & Charge mode, allowing you to start charging immediately after installation.IYILO-App-fig- (12)

Note

  1. The Plug & Charge function is automati-cally enabled right out of the box. As long as it’s enabled, you can charge your EV even if the charger is offline.
  2. The Plug & Charge button is located at the top of the sidebar. When the Plug & Charge function is enabled, the scheduling feature will be disabled, and vice versa.

Schedule Charging

  1. You can find the scheduling feature on the Schedule Charging page.
  2. One-Time Schedule lets you set a single schedule, which must fall within the current month.
  3. The scheduling feature lets you create one or more recurring schedules.IYILO-App-fig- (13)

One-time Schedule
When One-Time Schedule is enabled, you can set a specific date and start time, and no end time is required.IYILO-App-fig- (14)Recurring Schedule
You can add up to five schedules. When Recurring Schedule is enabled, select the weekdays and charging duration for automatic repeated charging.IYILO-App-fig- (15)

Note
Scheduled charging cannot be used when Plug & Charge is enabled. Please disable Plug & Charge before setting a schedule.

RFID Cards
RFID cards must be activated before use.
Go to Device Info → RFID Card → tap Add → enter the card name and number → tap OK.IYILO-App-fig- (16)

Note
Once your RFID card is configured in the app, you can start charging by tapping the card on the charger’s tap zone.

Set Electricity Rate
In App version 1.2.0, the TOU (Time-of-Use) logic has undergone significant updates. If you have upgraded to this version, please follow the steps below to configure your settings.IYILO-App-fig- (17)

Step 1. Tap “Set Electricity Rate”① to enter the page.
Step 2. Tap” Enable Rate Period”② to enter TOU Page.
Step 3. Select the number of TOU periods you need③. If you only require a single flat Basic Rate for the entire day, simply choose “1 Period,” and this rate will be applied as your base price 24/7IYILO-App-fig- (18)

Step 4. Set the electricity rate for each time period. Together, all periods must cover the full 24-hour day. Take a 2-period schedule as an example: once you set the time and rate for the first period, the second period will automatically adjust to cover the remaining hours of the day.
Step 5. Tap “Save Rate,” verify that your time periods and rates are correct, then tap”Confirm” to complete the setup. Your electricity rates will then automatically sync with the designated time periods.

Advance Setting
The IYILO app features advanced settings to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Dynamic loading balancing

Note
Caution: The dynamic load balancing function can only be configured with an IYILO-owned or licensed energy meter.
Important: Make sure the IYILO EV Charger has a stable Wi-Fi connection.IYILO-App-fig- (19)

Step 1. Please set up your IYILO EV Charger and Energy Meter using the proper installation method.
Step 2. Tap “Advanced” ①to proceed to the next page.
Step 3. Tap “Load Balancing” ②to enter the configuration page.
Step 4. Select the charger with the configured energy meter③.IYILO-App-fig- (20)Step 5. Toggle on “Dynamic Load Balancing” ①
Step 6. Enter the rating of the main breaker connected to the CT clamp.②
Note: The IYILO Energy Meter supports a maximum current of 200A.
Step 7. Once you complete the settings above and tap “Submit” ,a “Configured” icon③ will appear on the right to indicate success.

Dual-Charger Load Balancing

Note
Dual-charger load balancing enables two chargers to dynamically allocate current under the same breaker, preventing system overload.

Once the primary charger is configured with the meter and both chargers are wired to the same breaker, please follow the steps below to configure dynamic load balancing. IYILO-App-fig- (21)

After completing Steps 1 through 7 of the standalone-charger setup process, proceed with the following operations.
Step 1. Toggle on “Dual-Charger Configuration”①
Step 2. Enter the maximum total current for both chargers②.
Step 3. Tap the “+”③ button to select a second charging station.Then tap “Submit”④ to save your settings.
Step 4. In the latest version V1.2.0, we have added a real-time dual-charger display page. You can tap “Load Balancing Overview” in the top right corner of the Charger screen to monitor dual-charger data in real time.

Power Sharing
Power Sharing lets two EV chargers share the same circuit by dividing the maximum available current between them.IYILO-App-fig- (22)Step 1. Tap to enter the Power Sharing page①.
Step 2. Enable Power Sharing②.
Step 3. Enter the maximum rating of the breaker connected to the charger③ and the maximum current allowed under the shared breaker④.IYILO-App-fig- (23)Step 4. Tap the “+” ① icon to add both chargers to the Power Sharing configuration.  Step 5. Select the two chargers you want to include in Power Sharing.
Step 6. After selecting the chargers, click ‘Submit’.
Step 7. In the latest version, V1.2.0, we have added a real-time power sharing display page. You can tap “Power Sharing Dashboard” in the top right corner of the Charger screen to monitor dual-charger power sharing data in real time.

Reboot Charger
You can find the ‘Reboot Charger’ button in the Advanced menu to restart the charger. Note that the charger can only be rebooted when it is not in use. It cannot be rebooted while chargingIYILO-App-fig- (24)

Troubleshooting

  • App shows Offline: Check that your router or phone’s cellular signal is working properly. For firmware version V1.3.22, try a power cycle, then enter the charger selection screen, select the offline charger, tap Add, and reconnect to Wi‑Fi via Bluetooth search.
  • App shows Offline (firmware not V1.3.22): Power cycle the charger and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. If Bluetooth cannot detect the charger, contact support at support@iyilo.shop for the Factory Reset guide, then follow the reconnection steps.
  • Wi‑Fi pairing issues: Confirm you are connecting the charger to the correct Wi‑Fi band: the charger supports 2.4GHz only.
