We listen when our customers ask for improvements. We have added new features based on your feedback, giving you more options for customization, fewer steps for operations, and an overall more intuitive design.
1. Customize your Main Menu
Update your Main Menu to show the options you use in the way that suits you best.
Change from the current List View to Large View to feature one item at a time:
- Scroll ? to select Settings from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select Main Menu and press [Ok].
- Select Menu Layout and press [Ok].
- Select Large View and press [Ok].
- Return to the main menu to see the change.
Easily hide items you don't use from your main menu to make it easier to reach those you do:
- Scroll ? to select Settings from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select Main Menu and press [Ok].
- Select Hide Menu Items and press [Ok].
- Select the items you want to hide and press [Ok] to select.
- Scroll ? and select Save Changes. Press [Ok].
Note: Hidden menu items are still accessible. To access them, scroll down to the bottom of the main menu, select More Options, and press [Ok]. To add main menu items back, follow the same steps except select Add Menu Items on Step 3.
Reorder your main menu list:
- Scroll ? to select Settings from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select Main Menu and press [Ok].
- Select Reorder Menu Items and press [Ok].
- Select an item and press [Ok].
- Press ? or ? to move the item up or down the list.
- Scroll down and select Save Changes. Press [Ok].
2. Set up call, text message and voicemail alerts.
Control when the red LED light or the screen on the front of your phone lights up or when the alert icons next to your main menu items appear.
Set alert preferences on the exterior red LED light:
- Scroll ? to select Settings from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select Notifications and press [Ok].
- Select Red LED Light and press [Ok].
- Review the list of potential alerts. Alerts with “On” will turn on the red light when there is an alert. Alerts with “Off” will not turn on the red light. To change the settings, select the alert and press [Ok]. Select Off or On and press [Ok] to save the setting.
Set preferences for the alert icons (Badges) on the main menu:
- Scroll ? to select Settings from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select Notifications and press [Ok].
- Select Badges and press [Ok].
- Review the list of alerts. Alerts with “On” will display badges with tallies when a main menu item has a notification. Alerts with “Off” will not display a badge. To change the settings, select the alert and press [Ok]. Select Off or On and press [Ok] to save the setting.
3. Access Missed Calls and Call History from one location – Recent Calls.
View Missed Calls:
- Scroll ? to select Recent Calls from the main menu and press [Ok].
When you have a missed call, it will appear at the top of the list and a missed badge will appear next to it.
- To view details of the missed call, select the missed call and press [Ok].
Clear a Missed Call:
- Scroll ? to select Recent Calls from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select a missed call from the top of the list and press [Ok].
- When you return to the Recent Calls list, the missed call will no longer show a missed badge.
Delete your call history:
- Scroll ? to select Recent Calls from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Press the Up arrow ? to select Delete All Calls and press [Ok].
- Press [Ok] again to confirm the deletion.
4. Assign speed dial keys quickly and easily from the dial pad.
In addition to assigning speed dial keys from a contact, you can also assign keys directly from the dial pad.
- Press and hold down any unassigned number key.
- Select Yes, assign and press [Ok].
* Keys 0 and 1 are assigned to operator and voicemail and cannot be changed.
5. Capture your special moments with the simplified camera.
The camera now automatically saves photos that you capture. You can also access the front-facing camera directly from the Take Photo item on the main menu.
Take a front-facing photo:
- Scroll ? to select Take Photo from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Aim the camera and press [Ok] to capture the photo.
- Press [Ok] to take another photo. Your photo has been automatically saved to your photo gallery.
6. Add contacts right from your text messages.
No more writing down contact information to enter afterwards. You can now add contacts directly from your text messages. We have also improved the text message screens to make it easier to read your conversations.
Add a contact from text messages:
- Scroll ? to select Text Messages from the main menu and press [Ok].
- Select a text conversation from the list and press [Ok].
- Press the right arrow key ? to select Options, then press [Ok].
- Select Add Contact and press [Ok].

Why did my Main Menu change?
We updated the main menu so that frequently-used items are easier to access, based on customer usage and feedback.
How can I change the main menu back to how it was before?
You can customize your main menu items in Settings.
- Select Settings from the main menu screen and press [Ok].
- Select Main Menu and press [Ok].
- Select Reorder Menu Items to change the order of the items.
- Select Hide Menu Items to remove items from your list.
