Installation Guidance
The installation process involves several steps, illustrated in the figures provided in the original document. Key steps include:
- Ceiling Mounting (Fig. 1): Illustrates the ceiling mounting process. For EUR installations, a screw anchor is shown. For USA installations, a toggle bolt suitable for drop ceilings is depicted, with dimensions indicating the required hole size (Ø 0.552" / 14mm) and maximum ceiling thickness (1.14" / 29mm for the bolt, 1.18" / 30mm for the canopy). The counterweight mechanism is attached to the suspension cable.
- Cable Attachment to Lamp Body (Fig. 2): Shows how to connect the lamp's suspension cable to the main body of the lamp.
- Component Identification and Measurements (Fig. 3): Identifies components labeled 'A' (1x) and 'B' (2x) used in the installation. It also provides specific cable length measurements: A = 19 cm (7.5 inches) and B = 18 cm (7 inches).
- Tube Attachment (Fig. 4): Illustrates attaching the lamp's main tube to the lamp holder assembly.
- Cable Feeding (Fig. 5): Shows the process of feeding the electrical cable through the lamp's structural tube.
- Cable Securing (Fig. 6): Demonstrates securing the electrical cable within the lamp's structure using a clamping mechanism.
- Counterweight Adjustment (Fig. 7): Details the adjustment of the counterweight. It shows correct mounting with a checkmark [✓] and incorrect mounting with crosses [✗], emphasizing the importance of proper tension and balance.
- Final Assembly (Fig. 8): Shows the final assembly steps, including feeding the cable through the lamp body and attaching the light bulb shade.
- Lamp Head Adjustment (Fig. 9): Illustrates how to adjust the lamp head's position and orientation.
- Additional Element Installation (Fig. 10): Explains the installation of an optional complementary element, referring to previous figures (3, 4, 5, and 6) for guidance.
